Only a United South can defeat the North. GEJ and Obj proved this in 2011 and 2003 respectively even though majority of the Northern votes went to Buhari on both occasions. It will be extremely difficult for Tinubu or any Southern candidate to win against a northerner without getting majority votes from the entire south. Never trust northerners to leave their own and work with an outsider, it clearly doesn’t happen. |

Northern vote is already divided.. understand.. The more northerners going for president,d more divided their votes are in that region..so we just need one osinbajo to win.. BlazinGlory40: |

abuwidad: You lie. Atiku has a huge amount of Northern backup. Incase you don't know, North East has a huge number politically and this will be the first time a North East candidate could be president so the whole north will rather want their own than any other part of Nigeria. APC needs to think outside the box because they only have an option of someone that can drag the North East with Atiku and also drag the entire zones. |

Re: Implications Of Atiku Abubakar Clinching 2022 PDP Presidential Primary by oyatz(m): 11:01am On May 29, 2022 |
DMerciful: Yorubas have nothing to do with the PDP primaries. Peter Obi and almost the whole Igbos worked for Atiku/PDP in 2019. When it comes to 2023, Atiku/PDP owe it a moral duty to replicate the gesture by supporting Peter Obi to clinch the PDP ticket but they rather frustrated Peter Obi out of the party. Rather than blame those who let you down, you are blaming the Yorubas who didn't contest in the PDP primaries. |

adioolayi: How can Tinubu, a Muslim from a region that has served 8years full Presidential term and 8years full VP term or Osimbajo from same region be the option? Did you know Tambuwal stepped down for Atiku because he and GMB are from same region ? Greed is the greatest problem of children of Awolowo. Either South east clinches presidency or power remains in the North....OUK Know this and know Peace. ..... bookmark this page for future reference! |
Re: Implications Of Atiku Abubakar Clinching 2022 PDP Presidential Primary by TobiArchy(m): 12:11pm On May 29, 2022 |
The south should unite and form a front... Tinubu, Osinbajo and Peter are the leading candidates from the south, they should just step down and present someone. The best bet should be Osinbajo he is a Christian and can choose a strong Muslim ally from the north as running mate preferably kwankwaso/Zulum/El-rufai in that order... For Tinubu a Muslim/Muslim ticket will not fly not in this political dispensation...and For our dear Peter Obi with all due respect, the best that can happen is a VP slot with Atiku... If we will not let sentiment cloud our judgement, according to what's on ground and Nigeria's political scope with the massive disparity of voting power between the north and the south... sir Peter will be beaten hands down. who will be his vice in the labour party? All this permutations are purely based on winning election not best candidates...as we all know that is not what wins elections in Nigeria... |

SweetiliciousD: Channel your grievances to the right channel....O si n'ibe o ni bawo ni won se pin (you no dey there, you say why have dey distributed it this way)...that's exactly the problems of the SouthEast. They should get involved and stop making PDP a regional party. The way they have funded PDP..should they be ass.licking Atiku or they should ensure they get the ticket What has befallen them is about how they have played their politics in PDP... Allow SouthWest, stakeholders who have laboured in APC to have their own way too. Simple. |

adioolayi: Hahahahaha, Remember what we are discussing here is never party politics cos whoever the party chooses must face the electorates. Figure it out, Nigeria project is not for labourers alone. Even the street beggars are stakeholders. When you think skewed party politics, you remain regional party... APC in mind (Salvaged by greedy defectors and Supreme court but never the electorates) Select Tinubu or Osinbobo and you will dance skelewu beaten by the electorate. How many southeastern states did Chukwudi Tinubu consult during his statewide consultation? Keep thinking APC,PDP... E-go choke las las! The cloud is thickening and doing so very fast! Lobish.... |

Politics is just what it is, you just have to admit that Nigeria is a total mistake. I curse the day the amalgamation thought creeped into the heart of our colonial master .This northerners are never stupid and they will never let go of this power. When is time of voting they forget party and concentrate on how power remain there up north. I almost pee when that big head Tambuwal stepped down, it dawned on me Nigeria is under the armpit of this people will call aboki. |

NetValueFX: You guys are never on your own. You guys are south east but claiming to be the owners of southern Nigeria. Anybody that doesn't support you guys is seen as a Yoruba or Hausa. You want all southern states to unite to vote for an Ibo president but you are not ready to support the other tribes in southern Nigeria. Take your five states and leave you want to take all of southern Nigeria. You guys prefer to migrate to another person's else state to seek greener pastures than sit down to develop yours. Nothing is ever you guys fault. Everyone else is always working against you guys. Again southern Nigeria doesn't belong to you guys. South south will never be a part of you. At a time I had nothing but respect for you guys, but now it's very clear you guys are only thinking about yourself and would play all the tricks in the book to get it. When caught in the act you blame it on someone else and look for a way to con your way out of it. 1 Like 1 Share |

The popular 5% tag we carry today is because of how we voted Jonathan massively. South South is the most stupid region in Nigeria. Always directing your frustration to Igboes! Are we the ones that took your oil? Are we the one that voted Jonathan out? You lots are the most ungrateful idiottt I have seen. Yeye ogogoro South South! We don't give a damn about you!
