Well I don't blame them bcuz they have never travel outside their region b4. in 2019, I sat for African University of Science and Technology entrance examination and I made the regular admission list, out of the 13 candidates admitted to M.sc in Theoretical and Applied Physics, 8 were northers, 3 were yorubas and 2 were from South east. This is an exam that is set by German and Chinese Physicist, u can Google about the school. some time in 2016, PTDF sent some of her oversea scholars to d school instead of sending them to UK. My advice is don't argue about intelligent, smartness e.t.c on the bases of region or even among your own people or friends bcuz those you think are not intelligent or smart, if given the previllage and opportunity they will do far better than you

Bornos dominance in west Africa from the 10th to the 19th century is not pre historic. Please go and read up on what pre historic is. Maybe it's prehistoric if literacy is new to you but the history of Borno and other Northern states is well documented from the middle ages. Going by your argument during this time period the North was smarter than the South and have therefore been smarter for a much longer period. Hence, given the full history of our nations, the North is generally smarter than the South no?

In the end you keep dancing back and forth because you don't know what your argument is. First you said literacy is intelligence and that intelligence equals developments, then you said russians and chinese are smarter than qataris and hence more developed. When both misconceptions were debunked you flip flopped to a different argument. I don't waste my time with stone headed people who argue for the sake of it and have no motivation to learn or humility to admit when they're wrong.

There's nothing outstanding about the North or the South in this country. The South's edge over the North is paltry in the grand scheme of things and there are some Northern states that are way better than some Southern states.

I can see from your profile and past posts that you are not well travelled or well learned. You also frequent incel threads for introverts. My advice for you is to try to move out of your comfort zone and try to learn more about the world you live in. There's more to it than the foolish narratives you've bought into. This study extends that analysis by estimating the relationship between IQ and a new measure of economic welfare. Developed by Jones and Klenow (2016), welfare is not a measure of spending on public assistance programs, but a theory-based empirical construct combining several metrics of economic well-being. Using this new economic welfare index for a large sample of countries (74), we find that IQ is a statistically significant (5% or better) and economically important predictor of welfare growth. IQ measures one's ability to do well in academic work and is heavily influenced by literacy. Michelangelo was a genius, it will not show on any IQ test you put in front of him. No scientist truly relies on IQ as a measure of inherent intelligence. This is the genesis of our argument which is that literacy affects development but literacy is not intelligence, it only enhances it.

A study from one of the worst universities in the USA is not the smoking gun you think it is. Furthermore, correlation is not causation, one of the first things you are taught in research methods and statistics. Of course I will not expect them to teach you that in whatever copy and paste university you went to where turnitin is alien to you.
