I was responding to what he or she wrote, Nigeria belongs to 250 tribes and one section can control the others till eternity. It will end one day.

Sure it would. No power, dynasty or empire lasts forever. True power only belongs to God and He gives it to whomever He wishes.

However in the Nigeria of today, it's SE or the parts of the North that hasn't been there (NE and NC) should continue.

Well said ma, it still hurts me that Peter Obi left PDP where he had chances of being the VP.
dmostcheerful:

The thing is you Yorubas lack logic, Igbos can't help you be president, even common consultation Tinubu didn't go to the east, he feels we are inconsequential, you can't support us, yet to our very own face you call us bluff.
Since you people don't need our vote let's teach you people politics 101, an avarage Igbo is a wise man, we are not fools, that is why we excel in everything we do.
Since the west said they don't need our vote and won't give us either let's give it to people who will appreciate it and also how it will favour us(vp slot)
An avarage Igbo man knows what unity is we will align with those who need it.
Thankio.

Shut up. Your leaders are worthless who couldn't stand on their own.

Don't insult Buhari, and Insult your Leaders from the East

Said it that Lawan was Buhari’s Candidate, the bigot is too predictable

How anyone thought Buhari the ethnic jingoist and terrorist will just hand over power to the South beats me.

Expect more to step down for Lawan.

That’s what I posted just 2 days ago and got so much stick from politically naive folks

Honestly Igbos need to get schooled in National politics. My honest opinion. Same mistake done during Jonathan’s era is repeated here.
Who betrayed Jonathan?
Who married the North in 2015 and voted for Buhari massively?
The Igbos?
This is our time for revenge. The North must continue to rule after Buhari.
If APC make mistake and fields Tinubu or even Osibanjo, then we channel all our energy to Obi and Atiku.
The SW must not be president come 2023.
It is either Igbo rules or we throw all our support to any available Northern candidate

Those who celebrated Osinbajo for been deputy to Buhari will criticise umahi for wanting the same.not that they love igbos in the contest but will like to use them as a bargaining chips. Peter went and pick ticket to contest the same position, they criticise his action,if Peter obi have gone for Atiku deputy they would have criticise him, what do people actually want?

That's why you should take actions in life without looking at what people would say because they'll always talk.

As for Yorubas, we all know their hypocrisy. It's glaringly on display here on Nairaland. When Tinubu did it against the better South, he was termed a "Sophisticated and tactful politician" and they asked Igbos to "build bridges". Now Umahi wants to follow their logic and build same bridges, they're crying foul. Follow an Afonja's mouth at your peril.

I really love what is playing out right now.

I will be very happy if the APC presidential candidate goes to any Northern candidate.
I really want the Southern politicians to get sense small and unite and do the right thing after 8yrs of another Northern presidency.

If after the 8yrs of another Northern presidency, their brain is not yet back to unity, then another Northern candidate should emerge for another 8yrs.

Apart from Zik's era. The SW has become the president, the SS has become the Nigerian president. If the southern politicians are not smart enough to know the right and fair thing to do, then let the North continue ruling us until we do the right thing.
Maybe after serving all of them breakfast on Tuesday, they will come back to their senses. grin

All the Igbo aspirants in APC should just step down and support LAWAN and and all the Igbo delegates should vote LAWAN in the primary grincheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy
The North must continue ruling until the South does the right thing.

That's it. It's SE or North continues. Shikena.

The Judas of the South must learn that two can play the game.

The Igbos are indeed, the destabilising factor in Nigeria.
They always make a wrong move. When they were supposed to sew in APC, they opted for pdp with the hope of getting a support from Atiku Abubacorruption's party.
Now the same mistake is repeating itself.
A wrong move by the Ibos elders to endorsed Ahmed Lawal, when all the APC corrupt politicians from the North are stepping down for a Southern candidates.
The ibos are just bereaved of ideas.
No leadership, no focus, If Ibos cannot get it, then noone should get it.
The same approach of Nnamidi Azikwe, Ekweme, Nwobodo, Kalu etc
Let us see the lesson history is going to teach this people once again.

Amaechi isn't a contender, Igbo again?

South South and South East are not one again?

Thank you my brother. The Judas of South was actively hoping for Wike to emerge as the PDP presidential candidate so that APC will field a SW candidate to neutralize him.
Unfortunately for the betrayals, Atiku emerged the PDP candidate. That was the genesis of the chaos.
They betrayed GEJ in 2015 but suddenly become southern unity beggars now grin.
No. We are not dullards.
The only southern unity we need right now is when it is channeled towards making a South Eastern politician president.
Anything other than that, we throw our full support to the North.
No be only one person sabi betray grin cheesy
