Chai, the responses here na wa!!! The venue will need to have a license to play music publicly as is the case here. The convention isn't a private event. The license is what covers any DJ that plays at the venue. The question is whether the venue has the license to play music publicly. We are so used to doing things illegaly in Nigeria that we see an artist raising a genuine query as stupid. Check out international artists who have even died 50 years ago but still get royalties whenever their music is played . |
