Just to put things straight, whatever Kalu did was purely legal, nothing about it was against the law. It is the bitterness of his action that I find despicable.
It sadly reminded me of the biblical story of the two women who laid claim to one child. The fake mother wanted the other mother to also be childless like her and so agreed that the child be killed and divided between them, while the real mother would rather her child be alive and with someone else than be the mother of a dead child.
Kalu's withdrawal from the race was on the premise of if we don't get then no one does and instead let the enemy we have been demonizing for the past 7 years get it. That kind of talk is only fit for kids under 10 throwing tantrums. I believe he probably didn’t negotiate a deal for his region, probably didn’t negotiate power going to his region at the end of the supposed reign of Lawal. It was inspired by just pure raw hate.
People like him are very dangerous and I will not be surprised if he goes on to support bandits and negative forces to buttress his point. Kalu could even have supported a third term for Buhari if Buhari had asked for it rather than fight like a man.
His actions to me were very shameful.
Wike of PDP fought a great battle to the end. Even Fayose as volatile as he is though he lost the PDP primaries did not throw any form of tantrums. Imagine a Kalu on behalf of a whole region throwing tantrums like a small child whose toys have been withdrawn from him.

As for Lawal that allowed Kalu to use him, he will learn his lesson in the following months.

One Good Turn Deserves Another, the Case for the Norther Governors

These as far as I am concerned were the heroes of the day. They could easily have been greedy, but they choose not to. When they start reaping the reward, I don't want to hear any pim from anybody.

The communique at the end of the Sothern's governors forum was for presidency to go to the South. For some reasons, what Kalu seem to have heard was South (East).

One would have thought that APC would present a South-West while PDP will present a South East candidate.

May Jehovah punish anyone like yourself that ever says anything bad about our darling President Buhari again.

Amen.

OUK isn't even popular among the Igbos because of his corrupt ways, so on a normal day I won't go out of my way to defend him...but on this one OUK was absolutely right to take a stand on presidency coming to the East on the basis of fair play, in politics just like life, you win some you lose some, unfortunately OUK will never command respect in Igboland cause his hands are not clean.

Meanwhile Nobody n I do mean NOBODY from igboland will hesitate to tell God it's SE turn.

I am actually proud of OUK.
He is right and has the right to defend his region just like tinubu defends his own region..

We will not allow you victimize him for speaking his mind and asking for justice.

Voting for tinubu is not anyway in the East's favour. It means a long 16 year wait for the SE to have a chance, voting a NE who also have not tasted power is our best bet and OUK is right.

It is not emotions but pure politics of interest. The East will protect its own interest but will not stop anyone from protecting theirs. We do not owe anyone any apologies. Stop being emotional, and play politics like the 'hard man' that you always claim you are.
