The two important zones in this election is likely going to be south south and north central

If atiku picks wike as his vp then it's hard to see him not winning because south south has huge voters registering for this 2023. So that's basically south south and most north for pdp and then north central will favour atiku over atinubu especially with wike as VP whom I believe they will trust

APC is too intelligent to fly Muslim /Muslim ticket. There traditional Christian states in the North, Christians always win there... Platue, Gombe, kogi, Benue, Taraba, FTC, southern kaduna, some part kwara, Nasarawa, etc. PDP will just use it to their advantage. Know that Tinibu had issues with south east and south south because of the role he played in 2015 in the defeat of GEJ. Atiku will overrun APC if they fly Muslim ticket.

But a muslim-muslim ticket would be worse.
I see the VP slot being handed to Yakubu Dogara on a platter of gold.
He is about the only Christian politician from the north east with a reasonable fan base.
Tinubu's running mate must come from the north, precisely the northeast.
Picking someone from the northwest is bad for APC.
Picking a northern Christian is bad for APC.
Picking a Muslim to make a Muslim-Muslim ticket is bad for APC.
Some people would say Abiola & Kingibe won the 1993 election. They forget that 1993 is nearly 30 years ago and the religious polarisation at that time is insignificant compared to what is obtainable in today's Nigeria.
This presidency will be so easy for Atiku to win.
I've said it severally and I'll say it again.
Buhari never wanted Tinubu to emerge as the flag bearer for this very reason.
A southern Christian would have been a better option so a north-eastern Muslim would easily be picked as the VP.
But Tinubu's greed had its way and Atiku becomes Nigeria's next president.
