Latin America is a small continent (CONMEBOL), There are only 10 countries in this continent.Only the World Cup qualifiers are held on this continent, There is no Copa Amrica qualifier on this continent, no Nations League qualifiers Playing on this continent, scoring 86 goals in the national team is simply amazing, It is very difficult to win against the team number 10 in the points table playing in this continent, You have to go thousands of feet above sea level to play football on this continent. You have to play here with the oxygen problem. Europe, on the other hand, has World Cup qualifiers, Euro qualifiers, Nations League qualifiers. You have regular playing opportunities in Europe against Lithuania, Luxembourg, Andorra, Latvia, Faroe Islands, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Malta, San Marino, Gibraltar etc Just think if Messi had played in this Europe, how many goals he would have scored in the national team. |

PSG's Mbappe is world's most valuable player, study shows with an estimated transfer value of 205.6-million euros (R3.4bn), beating Vinicius (185.3-million euros, or R3.1bn) and Haaland (152.6-million euros, or R2.5bn). Mbappe's PSG teammate Neymar holds the current transfer record. The French champions paid Barcelona 222-million euros (R3.6bn) for his signature in 2017. The top five was rounded off by Barca youngster Pedri (135.1-million euros, or R2.2bn) and Borussia Dortmund's English midfielder Jude Bellingham (133.7-million euros). The CIES Football Observatory uses such indicators as player age, performance, career progression and contract duration to arrive at a transfer value. The latest list was dominated by Premier League players, with 41 representatives in the top 100. City's Ruben Dias (109.6-million euros, or R1.8bn) had the highest transfer value for a defender while PSG's Gianluigi Donnarumma (73.7-million euros, or R1.2bn) led among goalkeepers. City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, 30, was the oldest player on the list, with a value of 57.3-million euros (R940m). |

Did you know that Pep Guardiola is just a copycat? I often hear Guardiola fans say he's a genius because his tactics are revolutionary but is it true? Did Pep Guardiola invent something that the world of football has never seen before or are today's 15 year olds too lazy to watch classic documentaries and learn about other legendary managers? Unknown to today's 15 year olds Pep Guardiola is simply copying Johan Cruyff's tactics from the early 1990s when he was manager of Barcelona Older Barcelona fans know that when Johan Cruyff was manager of Barcelona Pep Guardiola was a midfielder playing for the Catalan club which explains who he copied his tactics from Johan Cruyff's tiki taka tactics is the reason Barcelona won their first Champions League trophy in 1992 and also reached the final twice in 3 seasons He's also the reason Barcelona won their first Uefa Super Cup in 1992 and he's the man who turned their academy into a world class establishment His team was so good that it got nicknamed the Dream Team and it played the same possession-based, one-touch football that today's 15 year olds call revolutionary Before Johan Cruyff became manager of Barcelona in 1988 Real Madrid had just won 5 La Liga titles in a row and then the genius of the Dutchman revolutionised the Catalan club into a team that won 4 La Liga titles in a row from 1990/91 until 1993/94 Do Guardiola fans realise that Johan Cruyff's tactics are also recognised and credited as the reason for Spain's dominance in international football from 2008 until 2012? Pep Guardiola is simply a copycat that has been managing clubs who were already successful and winning trophies before him cc |

| Re: Clubs And Trophies They Won This Season by GuyFawkes7(op): 8:05pm On Jun 14, 2022 |
Do you want to know why some people say Pep Guardiola is overrated? People hate Pep Guardiola because he always wants to manage teams that were already winning and had good quality players 1. Barcelona * Pep Guardiola took charge of a Barcelona team at the start of the 2008/09 season just a month after Spain had just won the 2008 Euro's * Xavi, Andrés Iniesta, Carlos Puyol, Gerrard Pique, Alaba and many other talented players were already set to win at club level after dominating international football with Spain 2. Bayern Munich * Pep Guardiola then decided to manage Bayern Munich in 2013 just after they had won the Champions League after thrashing Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate in the Semi-finals * It's amazing he never managed to win the Champions League with Bayern Munich with the same players that went on to win the World Cup by thrashing Brazil 7-1 in the Semi-finals 3. Manchester City * Manchester City won the Premier League in 2012 and 2014 along with other trophies in England and had already built themselves up as one of the most feared clubs in England * What Pep Guardiola has done to Manchester City is that he made them score more goals and win more matches than they used to in the previous seasons before he became manager * But Manchester City could've still won the league without him and they are yet to win the Champions League after 6 season of anguish #footballchallenge |

Does winning the most golden boots make you the best goalscorer? Lionel Messi fans will tell you that he's a better goalscorer than Cristiano Ronaldo because he's won 6 European Golden Shoes to CR7's 4 Golden Boots but I'm going to debunk that myth in this post: An unknown fact to many football fans is that the European Golden Boot is awarded to league top scorers in Europe's top leagues which means Lionel Messi has been stat-padding hard against weak La Liga teams like Eiber, Mallorca, Osasuna and Levante but it still doesn't make him a better goalscorer than Cristiano Ronaldo: 1. Champions League Scoring titles ✅ * Yes we know that Messi was a monster in La Liga to win his 6 European Golden Boots but it's Cristiano Ronaldo that has won the most scoring titles in the Champions League - the toughest club competition in European football against the best teams 2. IFFHS Scoring Awards ✅ * The difference between the European Golden Shoe and the IFFHS is that the latter award counts all competitive goals for international and club competitions while the other only counts league goals * It's no surprise that Cristiano Ronaldo has also won a record 4 IFFHS Goalscoring awards while Lionel Messi has only won the award twice which is the same as Robert Lewandowski * I think Robert Lewandowski will surpass Lionel Messi in this award given his current form 3. Most International Goals ✅ * Cristiano Ronaldo received the Guinness World Record certificate for surpassing the record of Ali Daei's record of 109 international goals * Cristiano Ronaldo achieved this record despite scoring less international penalties than Lionel Messi 4. FIFA Special Award ✅ * FIFA also gave Cristiano Ronaldo an award for being the greatest international goalscorer and the accolade was made out of platinum and diamonds |

What are the 3 common football lies that the media has been telling us: 1. Lie #1: If you don't believe that Messi is the greatest then you don't know football * This one is the biggest football lie that is pushed by the media today * A few months ago the media said "football has won today" after Messi finally lifted the Copa America trophy after 3 finals defeats * But did they say "football has won" when Luís Suaraz won the Copa America or when Alexis Sanchez won it in 2015 and 2016? * I have also heard some foolish pundits saying CR7 doesn't deserve to be the most followed football player because it's Messi who "touches the hearts of football fans" whenever he plays * Their other proganda phrases includes statements like "Messi only needs to win the World Cup to be the greatest", "If you don't enjoy watching Messi play then you understand football" or "Messi is the best example of a footballer on and outside the football pitch" * But to be honest I have watched Messi long enough to say he hasn't "touched my heart" * His dribbling is the most boring in football history and it can't be compared to Ronaldinho 2. Lie #2: Pep Guardiola is the greatest football manager * You'll often hear football pundits calling Pep Guardiola a genius and the greatest club football manager because he coached the biggest clubs in Europe (Barcelona, Bayern Munich and currently Manchester City) * The media will tell you that it's better to manager an already complete club that's about to win than it is to build up a struggling team and then make them great * Jürgen Klopp built up a struggling Liverpool team that had collapsed in 2015 and what Claudio Ranieri did with Leicester City in 2016 are more impressive than all the accomplishments that Guardiola has achieved 3. Lie #3: The Barcelona team of 2008/09 until 2012/13 is the greatest team * When Barcelona started dominating football with their tiki taka football in the late 2000s the media began their propaganda campaign by stating that "this is how real football must be played" and that the style of play is "the most beautiful and exciting to watch" * But tiki taka football is the reason Barcelona were not able to back to back Champions League titles like Real Madrid did in the 2010s * José Mourinho's "parking the bus" tactics with Inter Milan in 2010 stopped Barcelona from defending their 2009 Champions League title at the Santiago Bernabeu * Then Chelsea also used similar tactics in 2012 against Barcelona to stop them from defending their 2011 Champions League title * Bayern Munich then completely obliterated Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate in 2013 to end Barcelona's tiki taka football for good * Managers like José Mourinho with Inter Milan in 2010 & Jupp Heynckes with Bayern Munich in 2013 proved to us that tiki taka was being overhyped by the media #footballchallenge #ronaldo |

Do you remember when we told you that Messi can't survive outside of La Liga? When Sir Alex Furguson was asked why Ronaldo is better than Messi he said this: "But there is a difference between Messi and Ronaldo and I'll tell you what it is. I think Messi is a Barcelona player but Ronaldo could be playing for Stockport County and he would score a hat-trick. He is brilliant in the air and he has two feet." Ten months into a different league and Messi is already proving that Sir Alex Ferguson's analysis is correct Paris Saint Germain have won matches right after substituting Messi and Dimitri Payet embarrassed him with an outrageous skill #CR7 |

Did you know that Lionel Messi will always be in Maradona's shadow? Comparing Messi's 2014 World Cup in Brazil to Maradona's 1986 World Cup in Mexico: 1. Goals * All of Messi's 4 goals at the 2014 World Cup were in the group stages against Bosnia and Herzegovina (1), Iran (1) and Nigeria (2) * Diego Maradona scored 5 goals at the 1986 World Cup including a solo goal from midfield against England in the Quarterfinals after dribbling past 5 English outfield players (a goal that would be voted as the best in World Cup history and also Goal of the Century in 2002) 2. Assists * Lionel Messi had just 1 assist at the 2014 World Cup and it was against Switzerland in the Round of 16 * Diego Maradona had 5 assists at the 1986 World Cup and is currently the only player to have 10 Goals + Assists at the World Cup 3. Performances in the latter stages * Lionel Messi didn't score or assist in the Quarterfinals against Belgium, Semi-finals against the Netherlands and the Final against Germany at the 2014 World Cup * Diego Maradona assisted the winning goal of the 1986 World Cup final win over Germany, he scored a brace against Belgium in the Semi-finals and also scored a brace against England in a 2-1 win in the Quarterfinals 4. Overall performance compared to others * Lionel Messi was outscored by 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner James Rodríguez (6 goals) and Thomas Müller (5 goals). He was also out-assisted by 18 other players including Juan Cuadrado and Toni Kroos (4 assists each) who had the most assists at the World Cup * Diego Maradona (5 goals) was only outscored by Gary Lineker (6 goals) but he had the most assists at the 1986 World Cup. His 10 goals contribution out of Argentina's 14 World Cup goals means he contributed 71% to the team's success. 5. Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball) * It's no secret that the then FIFA President Sepp Blatter said Messi didn't deserve to win the World Cup Golden Ball and Diego Maradona shared the same sentiments and said Messi won as a result of a marketing scheme. Mario Kempes who is a 1978 World Cup winner with Argentina and also Player of the Tournament agreed with them. * Diego Maradona won the World Cup Golden Ball unanimously as he was clearly the best player at the 1986 World Cup #Maradona✅ #Messi❌ |
