I was charging my phone few weeks back in a neighbors house when two boys were saying it is good to beat your girlfriend and wife. I told them NO that it is absolutely wrong to beat a girl no matter what she did. He told me he went to work and when he came back,his girlfriend didn't cook. That made him beat her. Couple with the fact that she spoke to him anyhow after she knew was wrong. I told him there are several ways to punish a lady when she offend you. Beating should never be part of disciplining a woman in relationships or marriage.
Nomatter what your wife or girlfriend do to you,even if she slap you or insult you in public, there are better ways to punish her. No woman should be beaten. I wonder were some women got their husbands from. I went to a party the other day to back up for someone, a guy was just embarrassing this lady. Women should test the anger-level of their spouse before saying Yes I do.

Depends on the culture. What you described is Western culture. In some cultures women are brought up to expect a beating if they did something very wrong

A woman should not lift her hand against a man if she cannot take a retaliation. A woman should not provoke her husband until he morphs into the very beast that beats the shit out of her. A woman should not marry a readymade beast and hope to convert him into a sane man.
