Peter Obi

I’m not swayed towards Peter Obi camp yet, neither have I decided who to root for in the coming election.

What I don’t see Peter Obi singing is security. Ignoring security or making it less prioritised will be his greatest undoing…This current incompetent president rode on the back of gross insecurity during Jonathan’s era , the false impression the masses had about him being a General and to cap it up….the lies Apc sold about stopping the insecurity….Among the fundamental needs of human, security is also top of the list.

People especially northern Nigerian are dying by the minutes…what their ear is itching to hear is how the wanton insecurity will be quelled. Peter Obi don’t need to go the same route of lies APC went campaigning for PMB as regards security, because people are wiser now..except he has an ulterior motive.

Peter should not only sing about stopping insecurity, but should radiate it with his body language…they say don’t judge a book by its cover but permit me to judge…PETER OBI don’t have that ruggedness and persona to tackle the dreaded insurgents in the NORTH. They will cripple his government if he win and treat them with kids gloves. GEJ saw hell with these monsters, he intentionally relinquished power to APC because he knew the aftermath.

If PETER OBI can successfully convince me with his plans for insecurity, especially in the North, then he gat my vote.
When I picture Obi, I see improvement in Economy and home production. Reduction on the demand for dollar leading to an improvement in the dollar rate.

I see improvement in power because now he can make meaningful change unlike being a Governor which wasn't under their jurisdiction due to the Genco and Disco structure.

I see improvement in agriculture and home made production of goods.

I see improvement in ammunition to fight insecurity unlike the current structure where service chiefs embezzle the funds.

I challenge the incoming president to open up the sea ports in Calabar, Akwa ibom, Bonny, Warri and let's see how many people will remain in Lagos State.
Why you de quote that guy? It's clear he doesn't understand how the ports work. The federal government monopolized the port which I think he isn't aware of. If not e no suppose the type Wetin e type. Kids plenty for nairaland Sha.

Lol. Typical Obi's supporters.

Una weakness na our strength for this election. As long as one is having contrary opinion from you guys, they must be lambasted which is indirectly sending people away from you candidate.
You're not doing anybody a favour by voting for competent people.

Grow up.

Bastard!

Lol, you better read and equip yourself and stop following online propaganda. There's no port in the places u mentioned that's not fully open, your people will just not use them and prefer to ship from Lagos cos of the market available.

Don't let us fool our self, peter Obi didn't have any chance in 2023. Forget about the hyping, this same set of people hype the VP and he became third in the primary

Come on man, get over this clowning you call banter. You made the first post of likening obi to footballer or musician. That is typical of you when you hear anything about southeast.

Let me tell you something, this Nigeria is for all of us, and it is only insignificant people apart from politicians engage in tribalism. Ali nuhu has been a Kennywood star but he gained nationwide fame when he starred in movies sold in upper iweka, aba and alaba.

Go and see eagle wings, the main cast were enyinnia nwigwe (igbo), sani danja (hausa) and Femi Jacobs (yoruba) including Uzee Usman (hausa). They don't care about tribalism. They only want a better Nigeria.

No matter who the president is, the currency will remain naira, the flag would be green white green. Why then can't we make good choices to make Nigeria better. Drink a cup of water and wish things get better

Can you tell what he did in Anambra state while he was governor apart from saving money without development?? Or ASSU going on strike in the states university for over a year huh

Arysexy:
Buhari's maladministration actually propelled Obi's popularity. His old age and ill health which made him to perform below standard has closed the chapter of electing old and sickly leaders as the result from Buhari is devastating.

Obi does not need much campaign as the situation of the country today is enough to make any sensible person agitated about not repeating the mistakes of the past.

Obi has a good track record and age on his side. We can confidently try him for 4years, if he fails which I doubt, we kick him out.

For now I am 100% OBIdient and that's the best option among the top 3 as at today.

* Let's talk about their Peter Obi (Part 1)

What I'm about to say are what those who are OBIdiently following Peter Obi won't like to hear

But before I proceed,

Let me make it clear that Peter Obi is not a threat to Jagaban's emerging as next president by God grace

Write it down, Obi's labour party won't come second. He won't win one state!

So, we should have ignore their noise

But prosperity sake, we need to tell those who might have been misled that Obi is an angel or saint that Obi is an Atiku too.

Now, let's talk about what Obi did

Something happened in 2009

Police authorities in Lagos received information that a huge sum of money was been conveyed to the Peter Obi's private company at Apapa, Lagos.

Peter Obi at that time was the governor of Anambra state but had a private office at 7, Aerodrome Avenue, Apapa

The then Lagos State Police Commissioner, Marvel Akpoyibo led some of his officers including the Area Commander in Apapa and they stormed the company.

Police on getting to the scene saw the exotic jeeps that transported the money which were arraigned in suit cases inside the premises.

The Police instructed Peter Obi's boyz on ground to inform Obi of police intention to search the vehicle

Peter Obi instructed his aides not to open the vehicles until he comes to Lagos.

Peter Obi flew in to Lagos on that Sunday afternoon

On his arrival, Gov. Obi was angry and not comfortable with the Commissioner's directive that the vehicle should be searched

A devastated Obi directed his boyz to open the vehicle

Boom! A whooping sum of N250 million was found stashed in several briefcases!

When asked why Obi was ferrying 250million cash to Lagos on a Sunday afternoon

You won't be surprise what Peter Obi said!

Governor Obi responded that the money found in the vehicles belongs to Anambra State and that it was meant for payment to one of their contractors who wanted cash!!!

Can you imagine?

So, the contractor didn't have bank account and can not send their staff to and take the money

Peter Obi was too nice as governor to be transporting Money from Anambra to Lagos so as to deliver it to the contractors!

When the police asked Governor Obi why he should pay such a huge amount of money in cash instead of draft or cheque,

Peter Obi could not give reasonable answer.

That's the Peter Obi they are shouting around.

Up till today, no contractor came out to came out as Obi claimed.

And police preliminary investigation revealed a case of money laundering against the Peter Obi.

This is one of several lies and corrupt tendencies of their Angel Obi.

Watch out for more...

Am not bothered because he is not quite sincere with himself because who will win the next election will have a solid structure. Naija politics is not US politics

There's still 8 months to election and he has built this momentum in just one month.

Aren't you bothered?

INEC do not count prayer points & elections are never won on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc.

Comot here how this one concern us

Each time in the history of Nigeria when a punching bag is required, Igbos will always offer themselves up.

I don't know if this is a curse, or just shortsightedness or mere coincidence.

1) pre-coup the west was experiencing a terrorist crisis ( almost similar to what UGM is doing) Nzeogu and friends offered themselves up to be used as punching bags.

2) Abacha VS Abiola, Nzeribe offered himself to be used

3) Jonathan vs Northern cabal, Igbos offered themselves again

4) Tinubu VS Atiku, the delusional Peter Obi presented himself again. instead of Igbos to do the same thing Yorubas always do in any South VS North affair (which is side with the north) they're wasting their time and energy on a fruitless endeavor.

Tinubu and His SWAGA companions would never Dare attack an Northern aspirant, point one Tinubu Supporter attacking Kwankwaso or Atiku.

Peter Obi and Igbos will always be targeted by Tinubuists and SWAGA, If one is following this election online it'll seem like the election is Between Peter Obi/Igbos VS Yoruba/Tinubu.

This is the time Igbos should Take the back seat and just Enjoy the ride, If Peter Obi drops out of the race today.
YOU'LL see the Yorubas will have nothing to campaign with or against, even the northerners that are Political are not Attacking Atiku and his major party, every Ammunition is targeted at Peter Obi and Igbos.

Igbos have Sense, Tell Peter Obi to drop out, the single thing that can bring all Nigerians together is to be Anti-Igbo don't help them strengthen that Anti-Igbo Unity for another 8years, Support Atiku or Tinubu, choose one side, don't allow Peter Obi to run.
Reverse Psychology got Peter Obi Popular.
..
The people that are attacking Peter Obi may take the first step, and People would shoouutt whhoooaaaa.!!
But once the response from the side of Obi comes, the same people will shout Wooooowww...

Yorubas shouldn't allow tinubu to run. They should tell him to step down for osinbajo. That's the best thing for Apc.
