Stolen Phones by emmy512: 3:35pm On Jun 12, 2022
quick question

Why will someone steal a phone since January and not use it till now.

I'll like to know the modus operandi of armed robbers who steal phones.

what they do with them etc.

I know most are sold as parts, but the phones stolen from me were new models that'll take some time before people start looking for their spare parts, and moreover the phones were working very well, one wasn't up to 2 months and the other was barely 6 months.

Sometime ago I read on a thread where someone found that his stolen phone was actually in mali ,

I've been tracking everymonth cos I cant wait to get those guys, pulling a gun on me was the worst part.

Tell me what you know or think they actually do.

thanks

Let it go bro. Buy a new phone and move on. They have wiped it and you can no longer trace it.

Please ignore the guy above telling you to forget the phones. Thieves and their enablers will love such advise. Track your phones as long as it takes and teach those low lives a bitter lesson if eventually you get lucky.

Btw, what brand of phones were those?

You're sending this guy on a fool's errand lol. If everyone could track their stolen phones, they would do so. Your naive assumption is what it is- naive.

Help am track am now, inspector gadget lmao

There are many instances of people successfully tracking their stolen phones on this forum. Thieves get away with stolen phones most times because their victims tend to not make any effort in getting them back.

for the redmi I'm sure it's been wiped already.
the iPhone Is useless with them even as spare part.

this happened January and I already got another, my issue is why after this long it has not been used.
i'm just curious

That's possible too, my backpack they took also had an airtel wifi inside that would have made it easier to find but I foolishly discarded the wifi pack.
