They were not smart in letting someone with such terrible Igbo accent to sing that song. They could have contracted the song to a real Hausa man.

Bigotry did not let them pick the right person for the job. They want to make a Hausa Jingle for the Hausas and they had to use an Igbo person with heavy Igbo accent.

I thought I was the only one that noticed that the song was done by a non Hausa person that speaks Hausa fluently. That jingle can never appeal to an average Hausa person, it sounds way too off. Male Hausa singers have this nasal twinge to their singing voice no matter how baritone their speaking voice is. The singer should have learnt the arewa style of singing before doing the jingle.
