The major challange am having is that the last name on my international passport bear "tope" while the last name on all my credential is written as "Temitope". Am planing to renew my passport, pls my question is, how can i have the last name on the new passport change to "temitope". How can i go about this? help a brother.

For all those that need to travel to abj for passport, pls look for someone or an officer to send your data to make an application for you,so they need to approved it first then go for capturing,then if you need to come back home or wait for like 4 to 5days for it to be processed,then pls make sure you discuss how it will b sent to you if dealing with an immigration officer.if you want to just wait for evrytin you can plan your trip and just stay for a week plus.

Lost passports, change of name,change of data,damage passports can ONLY be done in abuja

Ok, I have a contact in Alausa who helped. I paid 20k. Initially, we agreed to 15, but they said they did not see my file. So I had to pay an extra 5k for them to open the file for me. I got it the following day.

a simple google search. you will need to do correction of data(due to error) which includes addition of names and replacement of names. This is not due to marriage, divorce or death and so will be charged( I think)

My candid advice for ALL.

Please make sure before enrolling for Nigeria Int'l Passport you are sure of the following:

1. Your date of birth is accurate and the desired one you need in the passport. This is a very difficult process to correct. Imaging travelling to Abuja with the cost involve to do that.

Not everything your money can easily do for you. Many have been scammed by fake agents. Even NIS officials who do not want to stain their image are avoiding this process.

2. You names - though not as complicated as the first but be sure you have the right name on your Int'l passport so as to avoid the stress of running about to correct it

You are indeed an hypocrite.
So if your sister at home is about to miss her opportunity you will tell her not to pay to beat deadline. I will not say anything on this Issue again. I did not create the system neither would anybody claim I collected money from them.
I could have used the money I paid for something else.

I am at Alausa NIS, trying to arrange all my docs in a file. But I was told by someone that I don't need Guarantor's form and birth certificate, Local govt identification in my file. Pls how true is this your response is appreciated, thanks.
