Glad we got our man Touchameni. This lad is fvcking talented and will definitely be the best DM in the world in a few year time. I am happy with our recent recruitment so far and hopeful we get a solid RW after Asensio sorts himself out. A Nkunku, Diaby, Gnabry or Mahrez would be ideal only if Asensio goes this summer. If not, I will say get back in two of the these group (Mayoral, Kubo, Brahim Diaz, Latasa, Arribas) to join our attack for the first half of next season. After the winter 2022 Qatar WC, we can get a forward gem that stars in that tournament. For now I am happy with our squad. |

Question for all thread members: Why are all madridstas more willing for Asensio to leave ahead of Hazard that was a bigger flop and earns more (he should be our highest earner currently)? I expected Hazard to be loaned out or sold for a cheap price to an EPL club this summer but it seems he is gonna be staying again. It makes far better sense to extend Asensio and keep him as a backup RW (after getting a Nkunku, Diaby, Mahrez etc.) and bin off fat earning Hazard. Who else shares my opinion? Vini and Rodrygo (backup) for LW A new star signing and Asensio for RW Maybe one of Brahim, Kubo, or Arribas as a fifth winger. Mayoral/Mariano as backup ST for Benzema. This attack is okay for our games before the upcoming world cup. 1 Like |

GoddyOra: Bro I don't want another season of Mayoral or Mariano as backups for Benzema, I know there are no viable options now but I just don't want it. As for Asensio I don't mind if he stays but I'd also don't mind if he leaves, I'm basically indifferent about it. pu7pl3: Lol Mariano/Mayoral are shit but neither would play that much (maximum of 5 games) pre-World Cup. I feel Benzema would be healthy next season so no need for a serious backup like the Jovic case. If Nkunku comes then he can still fill as a ST too should Benzema get a lenghty injury. Reason I don't mind a Mayoral/Mariano is that I feel this coming World Cup will produce some gems and stars that we might be interested in rather than bring in low quality options this summer (no much options for a ST in the market now). monerozi5590: I first watched Touchameni live in France Nation League Finals (late last year) with Pogba in the midfield. Man was balling hard but after watching more of his live games with France (this four games) and a few Monaco games this season (e.g vs PSG), I am confident in his talent. Chill man and relax, with a talent like Touchameni in our team: it is only a question of when he will unleash his potential not IF. He is that good. He might not be up to Casemiro in qualities of a destroyer yet but he is far better than Casemiro has ever been with passing of the ball and ball retention under pressure. Just hopes he fine tunes his defensive attributes and learn from a GOAT DM in Casemiro this season. |

GoddyOra: Carlo and Perez had said hazard will stay, meanwhile ASSensio’s contract will expire next 2 season so we might be forced to sell him if the right offer comes.
