Truth is the quality of teachers in public schools is a mess. Although one can also argue that government's lack of funding in the educational sector has contributed to the quality of teachers that find their way into the profession.

He is busy sacking teachers when their last month salary has not been paid, how will a primary school teacher give his or her best when he/she is underpaid (41k for a graduate and 38k for NCE) and most of them are posted to far away villages, they get paid 3rd week of the next month when others are already expecting another salary, this is not an assumption or hearsay, i experienced it firsthand.

Public schools are crowded with tomatoes sellers called teachers,the government should weed them out.they have nothing to offer,you can't give what you don't have.The other states should take a cue.Education is a serious busines,it is the bedrock of a nation.

A sane person would send qualified people to observe the teaching methods of the teachers and give a proper evaluation but such tests are nothing but a means to reduce government workers from his payroll. Many people failed as a result of bad computers and accidental submissions.

As a teacher, I could easily refuse to do my job and still sit for the exam and pass. It's an excuse and not an intended attempt to fix anything.

We don't need any evidence other than He's Fulani. The Fulanis have physically attacked people are in Southern Kaduna over and over again.... Most of the Institutions are in Northern Kaduna. The bias has always been against the mostly Christian populated Southern Kaduna.

All the govt do is to waste public fund in the name "my govt is working" why dismissing them from service?
What happen to the in service training that shld be given to the teachers.
Am of the opinion all the affected teacher shld go for training this long vacation, it will be cheaper than recruiting new once with out experience.

Most of the people supporting the incompetent teachers...I hope they want their children to be taught by the same teachers that could not pass a competency test.
