Oga that place is not a church Mbaka is still a Catholic Priest and still runs his office as a Catholic priest. He's a priest and not just any individual, among those that attends his adoration are people that supports the different political parties in the country and even supporters of the man Peter Obi whose image he is tarnishing without thinking of having some respect for Peter obi's supporters who were there in that day, you can't be Shepherd and be partisan at the same time, he's supposed to be neutral. He has Superiors who control his excesses and because he has been using that adoration ground as an avenue to be partisan because he can't do that in the parish, his bishop decided to close it down temporary until the elections are over, it is not basically because he attacked the person of Peter Obi but because of his partisanship.

Mbaka had been involved in too many media drama that the church constantly warned him to stay away from. Using his adoration ground for unguarded comments that embarrass the church is something the mother church cannot condone.
The Catholic church is very organized and has canonical rules that no priest is bigger than. If any priest strays, the church will force them back in line.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Peter Obi except for the fact that Peter was the victim of his verbal attack. Had it been Tinubu or Atiku, the church would have done the same thing still.

Closing down Mbaka's adoration centre was never Peter Obi's doing.
Mbaka simply bought market for himself.
This is supposed to be Catholic priest who is supposed to be apolitical and one who is not controlled by mammon. But who has shown by his various utterances & stance in the past, that he is a money driven clergy. One who is ready to give his altar to just any politician who Is ready to pay the right price.
