Hello everyone.Please I'm a first year university student in one of the federal university in Nigeria.Please I need recommendation on physics textbook.I don't know what physics textbook to buy for self-study especially on mechanics.Please, can anyone suggest any?

I have forgotten the name of one like that written by a northern academic. The name is likely "mechanics for scientists and engineers" it is introductory. Are you a physics student?
