Dont dull.. find good connect, sort them. Your passport will be out in a week.. I have this connect in Abeokuta. If you capture there I can release the contact asap.

quote author=musspuss post=114089203]Hello all,

Please I need urgent advise; I was asked for new passport ADR yesterday as the current one expires 1st week in December, I have already captured for renewal even before the ADR but words reaching me now is that there is no availability of booklets and that there is no timeline as to when I'd be able to get the new passport because there is a backlog that extends all the way back to March. I obviously can't meet up with the 30-day timeline and availability period for new passport seems indefinite. Please what can I do?

Thank you very much in advance.[/quote]

Thank you for your response. I've actually captured in Alausa and all the main contacts that even delivered successfully before swear this isn't possible at this time regardless of who or how much money you're willing to pay. That's why I'm looking for alternative solution cos I'm just tired. sad

Good day everyone.
Please does anyone have an idea what a third class grade degree will be evaluated(WES) as? And will it have any effect on the application. Thanks in anticipation.

It doesn’t matter what you graduated with. BSC is BSC. It won’t affect your application

Hi House, could anyone please help with a way to evaluate B.Sc. Transcript from Houdegbe, Benin republic? I have had issues with WES, i hear they have taken the Uni off their list. Does anyone have information on which evaluation body to use. My CRS score goes to 488 with it, but I am stuck at the moment. Please, any information would be highly appreciated. Thanks a million

Quick one guys…Asking for a friend…

Her international passport is still valid till January 2023, however she got married sometime last year and has done name change so she applied for a new passport very recently(expedited/fast tracked). The issue is she just got PPR today so she wants confirmation on whether she can send the old one for CoPR and whenever the new one comes, she’ll attach both and travel without issues or should she wait for the new one and send to Accra.

Cc @graciousword, ednut1, lotusgoddess ati bebelo smiley wink

Update on this…

She initially sent her passports to accra but then sent a mail/webform informing them of change of name and they requested she send the new passport along with other documents for name change. Old ppr was canceled, new remed request was issued and eventually name changed plus new ppr.

Passport and copr is back from accra. Quite simple actually.
Timeline: First PPR April 14th
ADR for change of name( new passport and legal documents that validates name change): May 6
ADR submission May 16
Remed Request June 1
Remed passed June 1
PPR 2 June 18

The process might be short or long depending on how soon they can get new passport and remed slot with IOM or Qlife if they are asked.

Pls are other people experiencing this..it’s almost 2weeks now.. we sent emails too, no reply

Hello @Maplechick and other gurus in the house, please help.

So, I have been able to pay for WES, and now need to request and send my credentials. I learned it can be fast if I used ETX.NG so I contacted them, and here is what I was told. Please advise:

1. That I would need to pay N57,650 for each transcript (ND, HND, PGD) = N172,950
2. Once the credentials get to WES (even through ETX.NG), WES would still send mail to my school for second-level verification, now I think this is where schools ask for money again before responding to WES. Is this correct?
3. Now, calculating this together, it will be about N200,000 + $250CAD paid to WES = ~N320,000 shocked

Please what can I do?
Who had gotten transcripts from Open University to WES before, how was the experience?
Who had sent transcripts from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to WES before, how long did it take you in total?

NB, if I am to try to get the credentials myself, it will cost, ~N70,000 for MAPOLY (ND + HND + courier + email verification), and N25,000 for NOUN, given ~N100,000, but I am kind of feeling somehow about the timeline it might take for the credentials to get to WES eventually.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Maplechick:
It's best to evaluate at least two..That's a whole 33 points and it's the same price as long as you are evaluating both in a single evaluation application with WES. The extra expense will only come from getting the transcript and sending it to WES if it's not from same institution. It's best to gather all the points one can gather in this journey. Best of luck!

Hello house please I need your advice I am confused. I got an email from “Do Not Reply CPC-O / Ne Pas Repondre CTD-O” with a subject line “ready for visa”. But I have logged into my profile and there is no update there. Other than my medicals passed update every other aspect (eligibility, background and final decision) still shows processing.

I have all the details for passport submission on the email should I go ahead to send my passport or should I wait for an update on my portal?

Has anyone here experienced this?

The email does not have a pdf attachment I could just print the email right? Thanks in advance for your response.

That’s PPR, that’s how it comes over 90% of the time, not as a message in your profile. Print the email and follow the instructions in it to submit your passport

Pls I will appreciate answers to the following concerns of mine. Thanks

1. Affordable airlines from Lagos to Canada

2. Where I can take the required photos for passport submission in Abuja

3. Which Vfs is currently advisable to send Passports and how do I send to them?

4. A Nigerian post PPR group that I can join.

Thanks once again.

If you are in a hurry, maybe try other states where demand for booklet is not so high....Lagos, Abuja and PH might be inundated.

If you don't mind the delay then send the receipt of your passport application and an LOE of the passport backlog situation in the new passport ADR placeholder to IRCC then send a webform and email to VO whenever you get the new passport

I would advise you try the first option though even if it means paying again.

Pls read this section of page 1, some universities in Benin Republic are not recognised. If your university is not recognised then the ECA is useless. If you can afford it, you could decide to try evaluating with the other 4 ECA bodies to see if any will come out positive; but check their websites first in case they have already indicated that they won't.

Also use the search bar on NL to see the experience of others, try "ECA Houdegbe"

See the suggestion from Graciouswords. If you have funds to spare, go with the option of a different state but also upload LOE and receipt of payment for passport renewal. Someone i know did that when passport was taking long to come out for her new born.

Side note: talk to your plug in alausa, they might be able to get you a booklet at an extra extra extra cost. Same person mentioned above got booklet last friday 3weeks after capturing. Another option will be to go for 64pages booklet (5 or 10yrs) those might be available as opposed to 32. Dun quote me o.

Please don't make the mistake of asking ETX to request your transcript for you.
IT WILL BE A BITTER EXPERIENCE.

Hello guys,

So I woke up this morning to an update in my application. I was asked to send an updated POF in seven days. That's a good move I suppose. Meanwhile, just to confirm from the house, is the current POF for a family of two still CAD16,500? Not sure, because I saw something like an update in funds required by IRCC a while back. Plus, is the official rate still 320 per 1 CAD, and I guess that's what I should use. Cheers.

The email says send to your nearest VO or so but people send to different offices to get it stamped. You just have to research the country very very well cos I’ve seen some people’s passports get stuck in customs, get ignored cos it’s from out of the country, get very delayed cos of backlog. Sometimes whether 2 days or 2 months, it’s just luck too. To me nothing still beats sending to your nearest VO, even if it’ll take 8 weeks.

I think they reviewed the POF upward again recently but just a few extra dollars as usual. Google POF family of two and it will bring out their POF link. Also use the Oanda currency conversion site to confirm current exchange rate. You can’t be guessing any exchange rate before someone denies your application over one cent lol. Oh and congrats too, any movement is movement. We’re inching closer to Canada cheesy
