Academics usually arrange theirs from surname First name and middle name. Bvn usually do same too, Nin uses surname Middle name and First name.. Wahala nor dey, just know where they are indicated and flll appropriately, the system go correct am themselves. I usually write my first name middle name and surname. Result bring me Surname first name and middle name.

Thanks for your response. With respect to travelling for Postgraduate studies , would you suggest that i rearrange my name on my International passport according to the way it's written on my First degree certificate or leave it as it is !?

Certificate carries : Surname Middlename Firstname ;
Int'l Passport : Surname Firstname Middlename

There is no issue as far as I'm concerned. 2 out of 3 is very fine. That's how I have been using my names. Only 2 almost all the times, use the 3rd one which is my middle name only rarely.

Hi, how about just first name and surname in B.Sc and NYSC certificate but all three names in every other documents? (BVN, NIN, PVC)

Good evening my people.. I am having same issues too but slightly different.. Majority of my documents had just my first name and surname. My neco and my jamb, my jamb admission letter too and I was given admission with two names, along the line I did everything possible to change it, my banks, bvn, non, voters card and also school documents, when I graduated my first name middle name and last name came out in my result, I processed my Nysc registration, my green card came out with the three names too, my covid 19 form same thing and I am expecting to receive call up letter that will come out with the three names too. But I am scared if my jamb that has 2 names will not be an issue when registering into camp but I have also sworn an affidavit of inclusion of name at the High Court Benin city. Has anyone had this issue before? Will this affect me registering into the camp?

How did you solve this pls ?

The moment there are discrepancies in names, care must be taken to make sure all documents are regularised. For instance you may need to go to the high Court especially if you're in Lagos and apply to swear an affidavit for regularization, saying or depose that all names are for one person and every other documents remain valid for same person.

If it cannot be regularized on where such mistake is made, you have to swear an affidavit to make it valid.
My opinion .

What does regilarised means

Simply a means to make the names appear as same on all papers or credentials.

But in a situation whereby you’re using 3 names on all your documents like Akinola Abayomi Oluwaseun and Akinola is the surname but only your O level result bears Akinola Oluwaseun Abayomi does it need affidavits to correct the one on ur o level?

In my WAEC, I had error of commission on the name section, my first and second name is there but the last name isn't, so I went to WAEC office and paid the sum of 30 thousand naira cash for them to edit it for me, now I don't know how to confirm if it has taken effect or not. Please can it affect my admission
