zudozz:Hehehehe. The most stupid excuse they could offer is that. They forgot that Tinubu signed the said INEC form that they claimed Afikuyomi filled for him. Any literate man who appends his signature on a document that bears his name is assumed to know the full content of the document. 2 Likes |

bicoloratrite9:Does that mean tinubu didn't attend primary school or secondary school? If Tinubu attend any of the above mentioned why is he afraid to tell us the name of the schools? Secondly, ignorance is not an excuse in the law. The candidate (tinubu) should be held responsible for the so called mistake. Therefore,I urge inec to disqualify him for perjury and lies under oath. |

Are they telling us that someone will not be held responsible if he shot and killed somebody by mistake? Either mistake or what, tinubu has sworn an oath with that information given, so he should be held responsible. |

Brendaniel: What business would ask for your primary school? The higher your credentials the less the lower education certificates matter. I have a Ph.D and you will never see secondary/high school on my Resume/CV. Make una leave sentiments, the man said he did not attend primary and secondary schools, so be it! Here are the requirements to contest for president in Nigeria: Eligibility They are a citizen of Nigeria by birth; They have attained the age of 35 years; They are a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; They have been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent. As long as Tinubu can prove that he has a university degree, he is fully eligible to contest, make we leave story for the gods! |

TINUBU, ATIKU and OBI Let me reiterate my prediction of the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the man to beat. Love him or hate him, all things being equal. I came to this conclusion based on a critical analysis of the political situation in the country today. My Facebook friends will recall that, as far as March this year, long before the presidential primary elections of the APC and PDP, I predicted that both Tinubu and Atiku would win their party tickets, and that the former would eventually defeat the latter at the general election in February, 2023. I have not seen anything as at today which can change this position. In all sincerity, and jokes apart, Tinubu 'lo kan'. He has laboured very hard for it, he has consistently and assiduously worked for it, and according to him, he has also prayed fervently for it and God seems to be answering his prayers. As for the chances of His Excellency Peter Obi in the forthcoming general election, I strongly believe that, his chances are very slim, because he and his political party, Labour Party, have no strong political structures across the country, which can adequately compete with those of his opponents and their political parties. Besides, he is contesting against political juggernauts, caterpillars and bulldozers (apology to K.O. Mbadiwe of blessed memory). Again, a president cannot enjoy governance if his party has no control of the National Assembly. Therefore, Peter Obi, if he wins the election, which is very doubtful, shall become seriously vulnerable to impeachment, apart from the fact that, his policies and bills shall suffer neglect if Labour Party does not produce sizable number of parliamentarians in the National Assembly. Those who are conversant with the political history of the country will remember the fate which befell Governor Balarabe Musa of Kaduna State in the second republic. He became Governor on the platform of People's Redemption Party (PRP) whereas the House of Assembly in the state was dominated by members of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN). His list of commissioners was not approved by the House until he was impeached from office. Let Peter Obi use the opportunity of this election to test the political waters of the presidential elections in Nigeria, and then use the lessons he must have learnt from it to prepare for 2027 or 2031. He needs to build the Labour Party to make it acceptable and popular nationally. A serious party must be able to produce Councillors, Local Government Chairmen, House of Assembly / National Assembly Members and Governors before thinking of producing the President. This is the truth and nothing but the truth. It is devoid of sentiments. If anybody finds it difficult to swallow, I do not have any apology to make. It is the hard truth. |
