This is a false narrative! Acting on credible information, police officers from Ojo Division raided shanties around the market, arrested suspected criminals and recovered some weapons. The shanties were thereafter set on fire.

Alaba Int’l Market is NOT on fire!

A place where swindling people is seen as being woke. If not for the few honest traders there, I for say the fire 🔥 serves them right.

It's at Alaba Rago, which is quite different and some distance apart from Alaba Int'l.

Alaba Rago is dominated by Northerners, their prominent business being animal sales while Alaba Int'l is dominated by Easterners with their prominent business being electronics and industrial sales.

Recall in May 2022, there was a plan to get rid of Alaba Rago by the police because it is a dangerous hideout for all manner of criminals who deal drugs and rob around that axis round the clock. Some political dabble and that plan was suspended.

Bar the distance, assuming Alaba Rago is Alaba Int'l is just like assuming Suru Alaba is Alaba or Surulere.

In the other thread, you can see how APC people were already celebrating the news. How can you be happy when you hear bad things happen to your countrymen? Most of the shops in Alaba are owned by Yorubas and rented by igbos. If fire consumes the place, both tribes will be affected.

I am so happy this news is false. It is Alaba Rago area that was burnt. No shop or goods were lost. NO LIVE WAS LOST. This is good news. Meanwhile, I have quoted all the wicked people who were already celebrating a fake news

OGIBRA:
Watch as they will stil blame yoruba, sanwo olu and tinubu, for someone carelessness. But wil kip quiet about d 3 policemen killed in their region...
Anyways, tank God, no life was lost..

tonicyril:
U dey drink my water, eat my food, making wealth on my land still dey wish me bad.....lol, na u go die laslas

No animal should quote me cus I didn't mention any body name or tribe. Fulls

sammirano:
These people will always cry victim.

PARADIZEPRIEST:
What wrong with igbo man brain?.
YOU MEAN YOU IGBO TRADE UNION for alaba international CANNOT HAVE TWO STANDBY FIRE FIGHTING TRUCKS STATIONED AT YOUR MARKET IN ALABA.
SORRY O! YOUR VILLAGE PPL NO LET UNA THINK WELL FOR LAGOS NA.
GREEDY AND SELFISH PEOPLE. angry

IpobAntidote:

It's in their DNA to always blame their sorry miserable low life existence on others. They are incapable of taking responsibility for anything. It must be someone else's fault.

Airlord2030:
if igbos don't like it, they should relocate back to their region..

you can't be insulting your host in their lives land..

back your bags and go back to your region

They always do that to attract compensation

Shinedu gave them 15M before the election, now he's stuck after winning only 2 local governments

As much as i am not in support of any form of crime, i still don't trust the police....99.9 % of those paraded are innocent. imagine the rusty locally made guns and digger....only God knows where they dug it out from just to claim they are working.
