✍� Having your parenting style questioned or undermined can be pretty upsetting!

Am I right or Right?

Apparently, this is a challenge almost all parent have encountered and continue to deal with.

It's almost like there's a war between us as to who has the best interest of the kids more at heart.

Sometimes it feels as though they intentionally decided to cross your boundaries; You may feel pushed to cross theirs too. But hey! Take a chill pill.

To resolve this issue, you have to first come to realize that whatever they do actually comes from a place of love.

Not for you of course, those grannies are made to piss you off!

Defending your parenting style isn't fun, especially to family members; As you likely are leading a different life than they did. Which is where a lot of the conflicts stems from.

Having to make decisions for your child is already in itself exhausting. The last thing you need added to the mix is ; Criticism.

Dear Mamma,

In as much as you don't want to offend. You have to make it clear; That just because they raised you or your spouse doesn't mean you have to agree with how they raised you!

Dear Mamma,

Do you seek a diplomatic way to handle issues that stem from family undermining your authority in your home?
