Justice Agatha Okeke of the Federal High Court, Uyo has convicted and sentenced a notorious international fraudster, Scales Olatunji, to 235years imprisonment for internet fraud and money laundering.

Olatunji was arraigned on July 2, 2019 on 45-count charges bordering on identity theft, money laundering and conspiracy.

He pleaded “not guilty” to the charges, thus setting the stage for his trial.

It must be a concurrent jail term, if he was arrested on 24 counts and the punishment for a single crime is 10 years, then 24 counts multiplied by 10 years will be 240 years, they'll release him after 10 years.

He may not have more than 7years jail term, depending on the longest of the 45 charge sentencing

The is the best way to stop cybercrime in Nigeria. 3 months, 6 months will only encourage them to do more.

235 Years doesn't make sense. Did he kill someone ? Anyways the guy should return some of the money so we can get out at a reasonable time to enjoy he's loot
