Am very sure some efcc and DSS prisons will be very comfortable....

In as much as those countries have good prisons, they also have bad and deplorable prisons....
We do see crime films nah

a prison(correctional center,as we call it these days) should be neat and beautiful... because the fact that an inmate doesn't have the freedom of movement and communication is far enough punishment for that person

Most prisons in the western world don't look like this. This infact looks like a blue collar prison.

Imprisonment is imprisonment, whether in Buckingham palace or in a Cameroonian dungeon.

Nothing beats liberty. The ability to call up your Friends, family members and neighbors.
The ability to go where you want to, visit whoever you want to and bang whatever girl you fancy.
No prison however beautifully furnished beats that freedom.

Their prisons is to correct the offenders not to destroy them.

One igbo neighbor that had been in many prisons in four countries in europe told me that in austria more than two decades ago, sometimes the illegal immigrant that were tired of sleeping roughly on the street would intend to go to prison. Prison was like going to hotel to them. They were released after six months, but if could not find their feet, they try to return to prison.

When I was a little kid, I was taught that no matter how aesthetic a hospital, cemetery or jail looks, it shouldn't be so in my eyes.


Also, most Nordic countries have the same system because of their small population and low crime rates

All these people comparing these western countries to Nigeria always never compare their own shallow thinking to people in the western world.
Your environment and leadership is a reflection of your own thinking and your own people.
