Apc: My Experience At Inec Registration Centre by Samunique(m): 11:56am On Jul 06, 2022 |
I went to an inec registration centre yesterday to transfer my PVC, what I heard both inside outside the center surprised me. Though I've heard similar things when I was in some part of the North for close to two months before I returned to my base. Base on what I heard, and what Nigeria thought should have been, I think APC goofed, fielding Tinubu is a major political blunder made by APC to win the forth coming Presidential election. Already, APC has a battered image, courtesy of the maladministration, retrogressive and oppressive, shambolic and failed government of President Muhammadu Buhari. No sane Nigerian was willing to identify himself with such a failed party, that has destroyed almost everything in the country. However, before the party's primary, APC has one or two jokers in their rank that may have made the up coming Presidential election easy for them. The chief of them is Professor Osinbajo, and second is Amaechi. If APC has chosen one of these persons, I tell you, they would have had a less battle to fight ! What I heard many people saying yesterday was that, "had it been APC make Osinbajo their candidate, we would have voted for them irrespective of the atrocities of Buhari, that Osinbajo is good man that was caged, by the power that be". They said, since it didn't go that way, both APC and PDP is a no go area, that they are there to collect their PVCs bcs of Peter Obi. Dear nairalanders, if this election is allowed to be free and fair, Peter Obi might pull a surprise, underrate him at your own peril, most especially when APC is preparing to make another political blunder by Fielding Muslim Muslim ticket. Don't be surprised that Obi might sweep the whole of South south, southeast and some parts of North centre, and Christian Southwest which will be a protest votes from Yoruba Christians should Tinubu go ahead with a Muslim running mate. Pls don't call me an okoro or ipob, Omo olowu omo aji'boshin from Owu Abeokuta ni mi, I'm a Yoruba ! Go out and make your own research on this issue, you will be shocked at what is going on ! And if you think the self-centered Buhari will rig election for Tinubu, your are still in your dream Land !!! Mod pls help move this to the FP, let's hear what others experiences are. Mynd44, Lalasticlala, seun NB: I'm not an Obi fan yet, still waiting for each party's manifesto and campaign, though nothing to wait for about APC any more, we have seen it all. APC is a party of shameless and chronic liars !!! 20 Likes 3 Shares |

Mynd44 and the other mods will never move this post to FP because they hate Obi so much! When we say APC and PDP are just wasting their time come 2023, Tinubu urchins thought we were joki!!! No sane Nigerian, I repeat no sane Nigerian will see a better option like Obi and then decides to vote an old ancestor! 10 Likes 1 Share |

Salvador1:Yes they might, but the reality on ground is against Tinubu, the only hope he has is that,he is the candidate of the ruling party, and this is what his supporters are banking on. But then if you look at it critically, this Buhari of a person who is a very selfish man is not someone like OBJ, who always took the bullets for his party in those days and made sure they won by all means. But Buhari will never do that, not bcs he's an honest man, but bcs he doesn't care, as far as he has had his own share of 8yrs of ruling, to hell with the party, if e wan scatter make e scatter. This can be clearly seen in the ways he's handled so many crisis that have befallen his party. So hoping on Buhari to win this election for Tinubu is like hoping on a woman to impregnate her husband, impossible! I'm a Yoruba man, what I wrote in the OP is to open the eyes of Tinubu and his fans to the dangers on the ground. You know they say, "blood is ticker than water ! Obi is gaining ground, no thanks to the APC irreparable failure and their proposed Muslim Muslim ticket, even in some parts of the southwest that are supposed to be for Tinubu naturally. 8 Likes |

The Man who denied his own tweets, and the blood of an innocent girl that was murdered is not worthy of Nigeria number one seat, just like this present mistake Called Buhari. 1 Like |

OP once said he lives in Port Hacort and it’s evident you are not even pro-APC from day one. All these online Meth addicts that will be disturbing people with jargons self no dey rest. As a Yoruba guy, you have the right to support Peter Obi which is normal and you won’t see anyone condemn you for that. I even doubt your Yorubaness when you claimed Christian SW won’t vote Tinubu, that’s where I question your sanity. Samunique: 1 Like |

LegendHero: You doubted my Yorubaness bcs I shared my experience with people based on what I was in the south and some parts of the North ? Pls I want you to go back to the op and read it once again, if there's any bias or political affiliation in it. In as much as I want someone from the Southwest to rule, my brother, the reality on the ground makes very difficult, except you want to deny the obvious !!! Did not notice a rise in insecurity, terror attacks, jail break etc, and don't you think all this things are deliberate to pitch the people against APC bcs of the choice of its candidate? Now let me ask you a sincere question, why should the people vote APC back to power ? 2 Likes |
Re: Apc: My Experience At Inec Registration Centre by LegendHero(m): 6:34pm On Jul 07, 2022 |
Samunique: If you check my post well, you’ll see that I don’t give a bleep who you vote, it is your right as a Yoruba to choose who to support. The reason why I mentioned that I doubt your Yorubaness is because you said Yoruba Christian won’t vote Tinubu. No sensible Yoruba will utter that statement except all those mentally deranged religious bigots we have within our midst. Thank God those that think like this are infinitesimal among us. MURIC is also part of those deranged few bigots. The SW currently have 5 Christian governors out of 6. That is to show deranged people that religion don’t matter here in the West. You can campaign against Tinubu but while doing that, you must desist from using religion because it’s counterproductive and unYoruba. Sefini. 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Amumaigwe: I don’t know about Nigeria but for me personally, I will be voting APC because of Tinubu as a candidate and the reason I chose him was due to his numerous past achievement as governor of Lagos state and the capabilities and political doggedness he has shown since 1999. Abi is that not why you guys are supporting Labor Party? Because the candidate is Obi! I am voting hun because I KNOW he is the only candidate that got that past achievement with anything that has to do with restructuring and governance structure among ALL those that are contesting. —State police - He got the history dragging OBJ to create one and he eventually created RRS which is by far the best equipped police unit in Nigeria. I firmly believe Tinubu will restructure the police and this will go a long way in reshaping our security system if achieved. Nigeria is not only bedeviled with lack of security gadgets/etc, our police system structure is very faulty and a conduit for failure as it stand. —Local Government Autonomy: He again too the FG to court to devolve power nearer to the people. He created those LCDAs and I am confident he will be able to team up with his boys in the legislature to give this country the true local government autonomy we need. Like that the grassroots can benefit more and each LG handle their destiny. —Foreign Direct Investment: Asiwaju brought many high end investment scheme to Lagos that are now worth $billion collectively if you look at the investments. From Eko Atlantic, Lekki free zone, and etc. This guy went to China himself to bring investor for the LFZ which now house the largest refinery in Africa. Asiwaju is the only candidate that has the most visit of foreign diplomats as a private citizen and this means he can use his friends in the international community to better Nigeria FDI with economic policies. —Asiwaju build systems that can outlast his tenure. Take BRT for example, what other governors usually do is to buy bus and cars as their own scheme. But Tinubu rather built a structure, built an agency, such that after he left government, the BRT can still function because it is an infrastructure. He did same with all those LAWMA, RRS, LIRS and etc. I need him to help reshape our FG agency and make them function well such that there won’t be slowdown when there is regime change. —Asiwaju has too notch eye for talents: This is why Obasanjo succeeded as president. He himself dosent have that educational qualification but OBJ understood the principle of round peg in round hole and not being nepotistic. Tinubu also got this same exact qualities which will enable him appoint people that can actually function with less government interference. You can see I did not state the usual, he construct road, he construct house thing alone. I’m talking about transformative ability of this guy and why I think he is the best. |

Re: Apc: My Experience At Inec Registration Centre by Samunique(m): 10:09am On Jul 08, 2022 |
NigerianAngelo:Yes I like him as a man, but being trusted is another thing. If you look at the reality on ground, most especially amongst the enlighten Nigerians, the odds favour him, but then let's not forget the corrupt electoral system we operate here in Nigeria, that's where the problem lies. Remember, this is no longer Goodluck era, the people we have at the helm of affairs now are demons worst than the devil himself. |
