Since he is motivated you guys to jappa by learning IT like he did.. You need to ask questions so that you can better prepare yourself.

He talks about how you can make 4x than driving etc. But does he talk about how much u can earn a year doing IT etc..

What areas of IT does he specialize in how the job market in that particular field etc .. Does he do trouble shooting over the phone etc..... ..

On his earlier post he stated that his friends advice him to work from home doing 2 jobs at the same time.. Why do you need to do 2 job IT job working from home. If the pay is that good why do 2 jobs......

He is painting a pretty picture here, but we don't have the facts and figures that allows us to make better inform decision ......

And me myself might be interested doing IT .. The more am well informed the better I can mentally prepare myself ..

I know some IT guys that work from home and trouble shoot . These guys basically are IT for the health care field.. They make about $17hrs per hour... But me I no fit do work for $17 per hour .

I know a single naija IT girl, she did house warming in May this year, she hasn’t spent 4years abroad but bought her house and paid full mortgage... she paid all.
While uncle that has been here for 15years is still paying house mortgage.
She does 3jobs no time , just raking in money, Na she we dey follow.
Trump open the door for us ( before it used to be only Indians & Chinese chupping the money ) but God bless Trump he shook the table and we blacky can chup too.
While you guys (old school ) are busy wasting time, trying to become citizens, marry or go to uni for MSc do all sort of arrangee just to get into system. We here focusing on the money.
If I do 2jobs from comfort of my home and earn what I ought to earn in 10 yrs in 5yrs, why not
After all we work now to play later

Let me conclude
Everybody hear ooh ... according to our abroad uncle and Pearl1910...

Well truthfully ehn, let me say this here now and maybe it might be my final comment on this our baseless argument about bolt hustle paying.

Let it be known that b4 I started commenting on this conversation actively, a narrative about lazy drivers and ant drivers is already ongoing.
Now, back to what brought me to this thread I have narrated the story here b4, but will repeat it for d sake of genuine people here who need real life experience for them to make their own decisions.

I was working at an office in Victoria Island at the initial, my salary was 50k monthly, I resigned in 2019, November precisely and I was legit grinding with my main hustle (handwork) I made quite reasonable amount of money legitimately and I was looking for investment opportunities did a whole lot of research, the one that resonates well with my current reality as at that time was e-hailing, reason because my main hustle gives me a whole lot of time to relax doing nothing, so I had to convert that free time to making money , and e-hailing is was the favourite business idea to me then, I started following this thread, asking questions and the rest of it, finally and luckily, I bought a Nigerian used manual car, did it took me sometime to register and put the car in order, along the line Cheerfulgiver was an high earner and the kind of motivation I needed that time, he then drop a mail so that those that are interested in earning high like him should contact him, I did contact him, he added me to the telegram group without any of those bloody lies( birth certificate, local government, D.O.B ) and the rest of it some people are spreading around, the one that made me really know that cheerfulgiver is legit, was when he called me with his own airtime to check on me asked me about my car challenges and even offered to assist me financially if the need arises, common it's rare to see a total stranger who cares so much about another stranger success. That's one of the reason I always tend to reply any cheerfulgiver slander if I knw it's not true.
I dont want this too long,
Now back to the bolded Baz001 I stand with my full chest to tell u that bolt is my side hustle even if I spend more time on bolt than my real hustle, because from the very initial I stated it that my real hustle gives me a whole lot of time to rest without doing nothing.
Now let me give u a practical example my real job can pay me 200k for a day job, and after expenses and production, I still net way more than 50% of the 200k.
Take note bolt cannot pay u 200k in a day.

Baz001 I no wan cap too much, I have said this b4, but let me say it here again, I can afford not to drive bolt again and still grind legitimately.

Pearl1910 you too like argument.

Remember that he never said manual is better than automatic for Ehailing. So I don't really know the base of your argument.

Manual is not difficult to drive bro.
When driving an Auto car, your right leg is always busy going from throttle to brake.
It's almost same with a manual car. Your right leg is still more busy than the left leg which controls only the clutch. No big deal.
It takes time to master a manual car. And if you haven't managed one for at least 1yr, you may never get comfortable having one.

On the issue of Uphill/traffic:
Back then in owerri, I was driving a manual car one day and my car went off in a pool of water that was even coming into my car through the doors; car couldn't start and there's no way to come down and call people to help me push it.
Car was in gear1 and I tried starting it, forgetting to clutch and it moved forward a bit but didn't start. That's how I pressed the ignition and held on it, car kept rolling and moving forward till it got out of water but didn't start. I waited for about 15mins, tried the ignition again and it started.

The reason for this example is to prove to you that you can start a manual car while the gear is engaged, cos I tried it a lot subsequent times.

So If you're in an uphill traffic, there are many ways to move your car without rolling back. You just need to be good with manual cars.
You can half your clutch before releasing the break, which is no big deal for a manual professional driver.
You can start the car and release the clutch respectively in milliseconds, car will start and jack forward a little bit.
You can equally use the hand brake/clutch and foot brake. It works fine for a rookie.

These will sound complex, but believe me if you can, it's quite easy and fun to a professional manual driver.

So anyone that can't afford an automatic, but have money for a manual car should please go ahead. It may not go easy with you at first, but you will testify with time.
Most interstate commercial cars are manual and there's no big deal in it.

Just to clarify, I didn't say u shouldn't use manual car for ehailing. I am not talking about advantages and disadvantages of manual and automatic. Was just curious what Felicity meant in his post when he said u can easily drive manual in traffic by releasing hand break with car in neutral. Then I asked what if u r driving uphill in traffic? simple question o. Instead of u guys to just agree it is more difficult u r dillydallying. Tomorrow u guys will say na me no dey like gree for argument.
It's good to always understand a discussion before engaging.
The first car I used on ehailing was a manual Hyundai Elantra. So I know what I am saying. I wanted to give it out but drivers that time didn't want to collect a manual car so I had to sell it off and added money to buy another car. If u check my topics, u will still see it there. Before u start telling me stories of manual cars, I don dey drive before u enter secondary school.

You have not been completely honest on this thread. There is a difference in encouraging people to look outside ehailing for better opportunities and telling people outrightly ehailing isn't worth it. Meanwhile u were cashing out day and night. See the way u gave breakdown of how to easily make 20k daily the other day. U never did that while u were still driving. All u did was constantly tell people it's better to do work of 80k than do ehailing, it's better to remain a restaurant staff or fuel attendant than do ehailing. Cos ehailing is stressful, suffer head, risky, and u go home with peanuts.
I am not against guys doing better things with their lives, what I am against is people saying that there isn't anything good about ehailing.
Anybody that has a low self esteem already will feel demoralized doing this but if u know who you are, if u know ur worth u will not define yourself by what u do or by what people think of you. Who jacket, white shirt and tie hep. When u collect your 100k salary and enter market u go know say there is a difference between 6 and half a dozen.
At the bolded was true
He even ask a 30k salary earner to continue with his job. It's so painful.
In this thread, i have never quoted anybody the way I quoted baz001 reason because I understand him somehow.

I no wan talk too much

I bought a manual car dey told me that my legs will be dis and that, that I can't face the stress and the rest of their lies.

Una pearl Uber is sweet grin

You are missing the point here bro .........

What type of IT are you doing .... What is the salary range etc ...... If you want to motivate people to jappa u have to give people more information to make sound decisions etc......

For example when I invested in uber ... Alot of my friends wanted to invest ....since I wanted to motivate them ... I basically told them my earnings, expenses . I worked them through how my business operate...

If you can recall here .. I explain how I search for cars and explain my landing cost... And also I gave out a detail explanation on how much I spend to get my tokunbo cars ready for uber......

My transparency was able to better prepare any potential investors .... People were calling me and asking question. And I was able to help them .. I didn't have to give people any information .. But I wanted to help and motivate people........

When are trying to motivate people let us give them as much information as much as possible. This will help them to make better decisions....

The sky is big enough for everyone.......
