See mumu. Aduwawa is our Hausa quarters if you don't know. The present state of Ihama in my Benin City is the future of any part of the overrated slum called Lagos.

That's why it's only Aduwawa that has the best Road in Benin. Even Osadebe avenue for GRA, the Street where your Government house is located has bad Roads too. Hausa people brought development in to Benin, via Aduwawa. Presently, na Aduwawa develop pass for Benin. grin

That use to be close to my former residence. That road never know peace during raining season. The situation improve after Oshomoile built that deep gutter and try to connect it to Ikpoba river. I left Benin in 2015 so I don't know if Obaseki completed the project. Benin city has poor drainage system and successful government need to utilize the Mots to improve drainage

I think the problem Nigeria is facing with this Flooding of a thing is we don't use an underground drainage system as being used in the western world, most of our drainages are opened and easily get blocked either by wastes or erosion as this affects easily flow of water whenever rain falls. My visit to Dubai years back I never saw an open drainage, all pipes to all buildings are channelled underground.

God bless you. When you are traveling from either North through Auchi, from East through Asaba, from South South through Warri or from West through Ibadan Benin express way. The second you get to Edo State from any of these routs, you will notice the absence of Government in that State. From bad roads and insecurity.

Edo State is presently the worst State in this Country.
