It's the way he said that folks who wait for the movie to start streaming before downloading it give opinions that aren't worth crap. As if this thread is not where all of our reviews end. If this were the IMBD or Rotten Tomatoes, they would have averaged all of our scores and shown it online for anybody to see when they search for the movie.

However, that is not the case in this instance because this is Nairaland and the vast majority of people living overseas are unaware of our existence, so what precisely are we asserting here? Which sane person will look up Nairalanders' reviews of a film they intend to watch. Both those who watched it on their phones and those who went to the theaters will post reviews that will only take up space on this thread, so everyone should just rest.

Personally I only watch in the cinema if I have the time to go out and I think the movie is worth it...

Story.

Watching certain movies in the cinema and at home can give different experiences.

Avatar, Black Panther, The hobbit etc are all movies that had a different cinematic experience between the cinema and the home.

Avatar was cool because of its graphics and 3d effects. It was meant for big screens. Black Panther had the zeitgeist of black empowerment at a time it was needed.

I already reviewed Dr strange sometime back, hence my "subpar" conclusion. I just didn't jump to that.

Reading this reply also showed you're just being emotional about marvel movies. I'm a big fan of marvel, I've seen all their movies but I don't comment with emotions. The few good things about marvel phase 4 movies are the graphics and sometimes acting, the fight scenes, the plot, the direction and many others things have been below par, considering how marvel's movies were.

As for Thor 4, I've read trusted reviews (not just nairaland garbage) on the plot, the delivery, the acting and the likes, like I said, the acting seems to be the highlight. I'm still seeing it on Wednesday.

Note: a movie going on to make crazy money doesn't mean it's good just like movie making shitty money doesn't make it bad. I'm sure you know this though but your emotions won't allow you accept that fact.

As a lover of good CBM, if you critique one without giving a good reason, it automatically sets me off.

Ratings are subjective...if you don't like their ratings move on...

You expect people to rate a movie 10/10 when many things make no sense in the movie? If the central conflict makes no sense, it's hard to rate a movie above 6/10

1. Wanda's motive made no sense...

2. Her excuse for not simply working with Strange and America to send her to a universe where the kids are orphans was that "what if my children fall sick?"
That is the dumbest line in the entire movie...funny how the writers couldn't come up with a better excuse

3. If Wanda could dreamwalk from the start, she didn't need to send a monster for America...
But no, we need a big CGI fight scene at the start

4. Strange getting nerfed every movie...

5. Wanda kidnapped America for almost 40mins but didn't take her powers as if waiting for rescuers to come

6. The best team and smartest character in the universe acting like a total idiot...for the plot to happen
