Pls I’m about to apply for passport renewal (precisely at Festac). The DIY procedure is not so clear to me so I plan on doing it the conventional way.

I’d really appreciate if anyone can tell me the requirements for renewal and cost range. Thanks in advance ��

General Passport Renewal Requirements
1. Photocopy of data page
2. Standard passport application form (it will be available for print out after you have filled the form online and paid)
3. Payment receipt
4. Appointment Slip (this is the form that has your appointment date and time, [application and reference id] keep your Ids safe, you'd need them for tracking or to continue the application incase you did not complete it in a day)
5. Letter of application
6. The expired passport
The fee should be 25k for 5 years (32 pages), 35k for 5 years (64 pages) and 70k for 10 years (64 pages)

Who knows if Alausa office would open today?

The last name is different. It's a family name that is no longer in use

You don't need to apply for a fresh passport. It's correction of data that you would apply for.
Visit https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/
Click on correction of data and proceed. There's a section where it would ask to type in the desired surname.

Hello All. Please I want to confirm if it is possible to capture before the date on the appointment slip. Under what circumstances can this be done?
My capturing date is in September but something came up and I have to travel in August. Please help with any info that will help me

Based on an already answered enquiry, this means that your passport is ready for pick up.

Please house am fresher and a novice i want to apply for passport what are the requirements, amount and if i can apply online please i need help on how to go about

Someone already said this is not possible. You can only capture on date selected during application, I tried to look for that response for you but could not locate it now. My own take is since this is Nigeria, never say never. If you know a very senior officer, it might fly. Wish you all the best while we wait for the gurus to respond.

My question is about the court stamp, i vaguely remember the guarantor form should be stamped by a court. Can i do it at an high court? Which do you recommend at Lagos and price? Thank you.

And if someone charges me 55k for 32pages 5years validity, from r express is it within the range?

I'd advise you go to a court near you to stamp, I did mine at Alausa today and I paid 2k for it. *Sobs*) Attach your guarantor's intl passport biodata page to the stamped form. My guarantor's intl passport would be expiring April this year and it was a source of worry to me that I was even looking for another guarantor, but I took the risk and apparently, it could be used since it's still valid."
So you can visit any magistrate or high court near you.

Thank you very much. Please how can i get my Guarantor Bio data now? My Guarantor didn't go through the DIY process and just paid someone for literally everything, they don't even know what a bio data is.

It's bio data page. The page on their passport that has their bio details and photograph.
Your guarantor has to have a passport at hand that is valid.

Why not try shagamu immigration passport office?!

They are in June.
