OBA has many followers both at the beginning and last rung of the ladder.
He is a benevolent dictator who has empowered some of the strongest men in Akwa Ibom politics, so he is not short of a huge support base.

An Udom can never willingly hand over to him because he can't control him. But I'm sorry, even with the power of incumbency, Udom is going to suffer a near fatal loss if PDP goes to the poll with Bassey on the ballot in another party.
You don't think retaining his mandate in the Senate since 2015 was a tea party, he will fight till the end.

Now let me say something thing here,...in 2007 alone Akwa ibom under Akpabio made 174 billion more than the five(5) eastern state combine...now add the five eastern state population and landmase and see how Akpabio swindled us...and as far as I'm concerned,the only failure in east too me was Theodore orji,... Sullivan chime even with ill health perform wonder ,not to talk of the man of the moment now Peter obi...so rest with audio Akpabio achievement...the sole reason he ran to APC was because of the huge amount the he launder in UAE....
