APC Postpones Offiicial Unveiling Of Vice Presidential Candidate by powerfulguy(op): 1:47pm On Jul 14, 2022

The All Progressives Congress has postponed the official unveiling of former Borno State Governor, Kashim Shetima, as its vice presidential candidate for the 2023 general election.

Shetima was meant to have been presented to party members at the APC national Secretariat on Thursday, but the Chairman of the APC Press Corp told reporters the event has been moved forward.

No reason has been given for the decision which comes amid controversy over the choice of a Muslim-Muslim ticket by the party.

Tinubu should be wise enough to know that Muslim/Muslim ticket will work against him and pitch him against fellow Southerners,first they wanted to use Ahmad Lawan to double cross him,it failed and now this. I have lived in the North ,Borno State to be specific during Shettima's tenure and he is a "bad market" even among Northern Christians ,also when you talk about competence in the North you should be talking about Northern Christians and not the other way round .
