I also got the the FAT 160Ah Full River based on your review the following week or so.

Wanted to know if it is still serving you well as mine has dropped its glove o as it no longer retains its charge for long.

Using today as an example, the battery got full around 2pm or so and right now, its already at 11.1V (inverter reading) or a bar (solar charger indicator) with a load of less than 100W (rechargeable fan and a mac laptop).

Is there a way to salvage the battery or do I need to get another one?

Highlighting how you moved from one ups to another etc and your reasons.
Batteries, usage, lifespan, damaged ones, replacement with time FRAME.
Are there any damaged device as a result of using UPS or MSW inverters?
Not done reading the pages but I guess you must have added solar panels, share your experience.
Would appreciate if you can modify your first post and include the updates

Given a suitable MPPT charge controller, how many watts should I expect to generate given a good sunlight hour?
For instance, If I look at the digital screen, how many watts would I likely see.

Its very easy, there are different ways that u can entertain urself when u are at home.

All you need is Gotv and an LCD with a very low wattage or a PC monitor that has AV input ,a 650va UPS, a 12v 40ah fullriver valve regulated battery and a smart charger.

I bought my 40ah battery brand new at oshodi for 6k its equivalent to deep cycle batteries and I bought my 20amp smart battery charger at idioro mushin for 7k, with this u can stay connected to ur favorite programs on TV or watch movies on ur LCD via external hdd, if u already have an LCD TV, just check the watts ,if its above 100, then u need to get a 15inch monitor that has AV input II bought mine 5k at computer village, the smart charger charges the battery,the ups stands as the power, my 15inch monitor is 34watts while the blu ray player is just 16watts.

So......

When there is no electricity ,my 40ah battery can power my 15inch LCD and Gotv or blu ray player for full 9hrs.

Note: It only powers my Gotv, bluray and 15inch LCD, imagine if I have 2 of that battery nko? That means I will never miss my favorite programs.

Gurus in the house, I greet una, please I'm new and a football lover, I wanted to buy mtn lumos power supply but got discouraged due to daily billing. I want to set up a mini solar power supply just for my 32 inches tv of 50watt and dstv hd recorder just to watch football of about 2 hours or 2 hours 30minutes. So I'm asking if a battery of 40amp with pure sine wave inverter can be enough for the match, I have low budget and plan on expanding in future, thanks. Ceejay80s

Your budget is ok for a 100ah battery with a 1000w souer modified sine wave inverter. You will have to up your budget to incorporate solar panels
