Tell her cancer strives on fear. Fear seems to fuel the disease. She needs to be strong. With early treatment, either excision or chemo or both, and her strong belief she can overcome the disease, she will definitely overcome it. It is well with her!

Chemotherapy or radiotherapy is not surgery(operation). Chemo is the use of chemical that kills cancerous cells in the body, while radio is the use of x-ray or gamma ray to kill cancerous cells.

Like I said earlier, it depends on the stage of the cancer if operation is necesary or chemo or both.

It is well with your mother!

If the doctors say operation is the key at this moment, encourage her to go, cancer can metastasize very quickly if actions are not taken on time.

Beg her and tell her you can't go buy another mother else where, nobody will threat you like their son if she refuses and died.

Time will quickly change her mind. The pain which comes with the condition will make her beg for any remedy available. Perform a family meeting over her matter and if she still refuses leave her to my initial suggestion.
