I hope she is not among those who live overseas and talk down on Nigeria not knowing that some of their mates here in Nigeria are living far better life than them here in Nigeria.

Nigeria will never bless anyone who speak ill of the land and even if you are far away you are still going to reap all your curses on the land. Just watch it so that your transient comfort does not make you puff up to start talking down on Nigeria.

Well, she is 32 now, and she arrived in the US at 19. 19 is not too young...a lot of Nigerians arrive at the US for studies around the same age...and do well...like Chiamanda Adiche for example.

At the end of the day, she initially did do well...she did her studies, then married (an American) had children, and the marriage (like many here in Nigeria and the US ) failed due to her mental issues and also other stuff apparently.

She's clearly sick.

News like this break my heart. Her family and friends should come to her aid this is depression.

Moral of the Story: Let's Try To Give Shelter To The Homeless.

She was given shelter which she left. Battered women are treated as a priority but she can’t be forced to accept help.
