Hello, please is parent authorization letter required for a minor's visit visa application even when invitation letter has been sent by the other parent thats presently in Canada.

Also, is it possible to renew 9ja passport that still has like 9months validity. Thanks

1) Yes, since a minor is the applicant.

2) yes.

Hello all. I am a graduate of Computer Science 2015. I had initially gotten admission to Fanshawe for Mobile Application Development but got withdrawn due to late deposit payment.
Anyways now I have two pending admissions : Information Business Technology Analysis from Connestoga and Supply Chain Management from Northern College

I have been working as in Inventory officer in a Supermarket since 2017 so I'm wondering which course would make better sense to accept for visa explanation purposes especially since the study gap. The supply management has a lot of courses that directly reference inventory and has a Co-op work term

Easy answer

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT!!!

You have the experience already and can sell that to the visa officer than the other course

Greetings famz!

Please I used an agent to book my flight from Lagos to Saskatoon, my mind told me to check the status of my ticket through Egyptair, so I downloaded their App and log in with our details (Myself, wife, and 14 months old toddler )

These are my observations when I log in to verify our tickets

1. The cost of our flight is 2.267m but he charged me 2.796m, that's a tune of 526k just to book a flight

2. He attached my baby to my wife, they both shared the same booking reference code, he charged me 122,000 for the baby but when I check online, I saw one traveler, which is my wife.
Has anyone traveled with their toddler and experienced this issue? Does my baby need to have her separate reference or reflect on my wife's ticket?

3. I have contacted the agent, and his explanation of the overcharging aspect was kept aside. He insisted that my baby would reflect if Egyptair check us in.

Please help me with any available information as regards this toddler traveling with her mother.

Thank you

PPR is coming today!!!!

The God of vengeance has settled the matter in my favor. What God cannot do does not exist.

Someone on this platform has gotten ppr in his portal before he received email 7hours later. Ppr can actually be updated in your portal before you receive email from ircc

Hello gurus in the house and everyone.

I have gotten admission at a Canadian college and want to apply for study visa but have some issues and concern. I have a sibling in Canada that is willing to sponsor me and has made part payment of my fees.

1. Do I have a good chance of getting a study visa if my sponsor is based in Canada? Can my sibling and their spouse be used as my sponsor or only my sibling?

2. I am married with kids so plan to use my family as home ties. Is this enough?

3. I work as a freelancer and do not have regular monthly inflow of funds to my bank account, but I have shares of Nigerian stocks worth N10 million. Will this be a red flag as I do not have pay slips to submit?

I look forward to your responses. Thank you.

Why don't you go for a Master's in Computer Science. It will make a lot of sense for a career progression, a direct match to your Bsc.
Just an advise ...

All the best!

Thank you, I would probably have considered that ordinarily but my grades 2.2 are probably not eligible and masters I think are usually more expensive and I would rather save funds

Pls next time book your flights thru wakanow.com. Their fairs are one of the best. With respect to your request u can call wakanow and act as though u want book a flight then ask them these questions. No one will give u a better answer than those who are into the business. Check google for wakanow phone number and call them. Wish u a safe journey

1) Nobody here can tell you emphatically, you approval is sure. However with what you have already, I will advise you demonstrate stronger hometies to Nigeria than Canada since you are using your sibling in Canada. Yes, your sibling and spouse can be your sponsors but you are expected to show financial capability of your own to cover for at least your living expense. Also you have to show substantial proof of relationship with each sponsor

2) No it is not enough, you are employed. You have to include evidence of employment or what you do for a living. if your own assets either one or many, you are to attach evidence of these assets.

3) it is not a red flag in anyway. The shares serves two purpose, it can supplement your finances if liquidated and also serve as a hometie which is something that would encourage you to return home.

Use africhange

Find someone in Canada to create an account with them and fund the ngn wallet (they'll generate naija bank account for you to deposit)

Then convert the Money (naira) to cad on the website/app

Withdraw the funds into the person's canada bank account

Then pay your school fees through the bank app

Tested and confirmed (I paid 2300cad through africhange)

On the bolded, do you mean withdraw into the person's Africhange account or the person's Canadian bank account and by the bank app do you mean Africhange app or the person's bank account

Hey Lekiboboe,

I sent a mail to Qlife a few days ago requesting for a personal copy of my test results and here's the reply I got from them in a couple of minutes:

"Dear Sir,

To get a copy of the report, kindly come to the facility with your Information Sheet and N2500

Best Regards"

So they give the results, but with conditions. Personally, the obligation to "come [in person] to the facility" drives me up the wall, to say the least. What is worse, after I wrote them back to ask for other available options since I'm not based in, and stay 100s of kms from, Lagos, I got no further reply to date. I mean, this is crazy! I should pay 1000s of naira on transport/flight with the concomitant travel risks to go to Lagos just to collect a result that can be forwarded to me via email. I don't understand what my physical presence would change. This is really funny! They even charge money (₦2, 500) to collect the results of tests one paid for. I mean...

Anyways, I'll call them to give them a piece of my mind if they insist... I booked for medical exams from a far distance (online), but I can't collect my results from a far distance.

Meanwhile, those who are based in Lagos and did their Medicals at Qlife, please walk in to their facility with the information provided above and collect your results, if you want.

It'll end in praise for all of us!

Is this a new development or what? Quite surprising.

I requested for our medical results from IOM via email and it was sent less than 1 hour without paying a dime.

I also asked if our result have been sent to IRCC and they replied yes

Maybe they just started requesting for money. Someone else should please clarify and let us know what their experience is with Qlife.
