SmartPolician: Which is why government and ASUU don't want to do it. But to be honest, education gets about 3-4bn dollars yearly. It needs far far more than that....but we have a low tax to gdp ratio and we are an oil dependent economy that is spending close to half of our income from oil on fuel subsidies(which most of the country prefers to stay)...and i don't think we can earn enough from agric and mining to make a difference. |

See? major reason for neglecting students to their fates is power tussle between those who are tasked with responsibility to ensure smooth running of education in the country but because of personal interest they are busy trying to dominate each other thereby catching funs as students who are now idle at home turn into something else. 1 Like |

Ngige has been the problem. Forming street boy Also, Not like it's difficult to resolve this recurring ASUU strike but govt no trust them self. It's better to solve little by little, then ask them to go back, they strike again, you solve small. Give them this money, nothing dem go do. Just be buying cars and property upanda TeTFund don complain tire How many Nigeria universities or Profs have attracted funding from Corporations/organisations like overseas.
