Good morning everyone. Yam meals are very popular in Nigeria because they are satisfying and relatively easy to prepare. Today I share 2 of such meals : Yam Porridge and Yam Peppersoup (with cow offals).
Both are yummy and can be prepared in a short time. Please see the details below and tell which recipe you will prefer.

YAM PORRIDGE

Yam
Red oil
Dry Fish
Tomatoes and pepper paste
Crayfish(optional)
Seasoning cubes and salt to taste
Onions
Vegetable (ugu leaves)

Cow offals
Cow heart
Dry fish
Crayfish
Scotch bonnet pepper(atarodo)
Onions
Scent leaves
Water
Seasoning cubes
Salt.

Yam pepper soup

I Thank God for the fact, that man no longer sees snake threads and meals hitting FP ,but actual food. Both are great but forever a yam porridge fan over any other varieties.

Only the fish inside the two

In nigeria...one yam is 1200..

My best meal.. any way yam is prepared, I will eat it like someone eating the best meal of his life. Even if it's yam and red oil..

But that yam peppersoup dey enter my eyes

Yam pepper soup any day or time. Yam porridge is good too.
