We really can't tell which series is going to be more successful between the house of dragon and the ring of power, truth is that on paper, the house of dragon edges out but like i said when the two shows starts properly, that's when we can draw our conclusions.

One aspect of things that's going to help the ring of power is if fans of the lord of the ring and the hobbit decides to watch the ring of power.
I feel right now many fans of the lord of the rings and the hobbit are still having second opinion about the ring of power unlike the fans of the house of dragons that are ready for the series, however one of the things that might really help the ring of power is social media.
If the series starts trending, then forget it, it's all over for house of dragon because by trending, it means luring the interest of the fans of the lord of the rings and the hobbit.

For example, people that grew up watching the lord of the rings and the hobbit, those 18 to 22 years generation of kids will be more interested in the ring of power than the house of dragons.
Like i said it's all about social media.

Anything that makes the ring of power trends on social media, if those generation of kids gets to know about it then it's all over for the house of dragon.
It's like Merlin returning for new season now, the outburst will be crazy especially from those young generation of kids.
If they know about the ring of power, it's all over for the house of dragon, like i said it has to do with social media.

I thought you were saying earlier on HOTD is more popular because of Game of Thrones is recent. Now you did your proper research and you changing mouth knowing how popular LOTR is.
Now you know how engrained younger generation are to LOTR compared to GOT.

Despite that I don't see LOTR series doing shït to HOTD. This is really funny. So you think the greatest show of all time it's the likes of Merlin that will oust it. And how will Ring of Power not trend on social media? Or you think LOTR fans are not aware of the show. The most expensive show of all time with almost $500mn budget just for season 1. The most expensive blockbuster movies haven't spent this much. Ordinary Wheel of Time came and out and people knew, talkless of LOTR.

HBO knowingly putting HOTD directly in the same release time as ROP knows perfectly what they're doing and aren't afraid of the competition.
It's not only about vibes and popularity, it's also the quality matching the hype. Game of Thrones changed the TV game for good and I don't think there's any series that has done close to that. So ROP isn't topping that anytime soon.

As for the Merlin hype I don't see most kids of 18yrs crazy for it. It's adults around 25-30+ that that series will captivate more being that it was their era.

I love how these two shows are in placed together. Easier to rate things concurrently. 'twill be glorious.

True about HBO being the god of series.
I am still waiting for a day when we will get a whole King Kong series from HBO.
I want series on king Kong and
Mortal Kombat from HBO.

These are the only two things that can overthrow the game of thrones especially mortal Kombat with a very big budget.
I am just imagining all that different supernatural worlds on mortal Kombat.
It's going to be epic and mind-blowing.

Well, Apple TV has the rights to Godzilla for TV. They'll probably get King Kong in the future if WB don't step in.
As for MK, WB the parent company of HBO already have a sequel movie in place. If the movies remain successful they might branch out spin offs for HBOMax in the future.

Me sef surprise when I hear the news some months ago.

Turns out Legendary and Toho pictures licenced out the series rights to em. Prolly WB wasn't willing to spend much in the auction.

I think stuff like this probably played a role in Kilar's quick removal.

Lol, yea she looks naive. This is the young Rhaenyra actress so we won't be seeing her much except for earlier episodes and probably flashbacks. Most likely two to three episodes to establish her character development.

Emma Darcy is the main actress.
