Mr Dikko has been managing and directing a company that has not refined 1 litre of petroleum products since APC took over and himself and his Northern brothers are collecting salaries. This must be productivity. Southern Nigerians, you see your life? At last, you will get sense. |

tnerro1: The logic is beyond me. The fact that they can't find anyone from the SS to at least manage a refinery in PH. 8 years of Buhari's government and we now need to look forward to 60,000 P/B, shouldn't the main focus from day one of the Buhari's government be energy security such as refineries and power plant.

I keep asking...why did it take the president, who doubles as minister of petroleum, 7 years to start the rehabilitation of the refineries? If this had been done 7 years ago including other moribund refineries, subsidy would have been past tense by 2021! Too bad! |
Re: Port Harcourt Refinery Begins Refining Of 60,000 Barrels Per Day In 2023 by grandstar(m): 12:23am On Jul 24, 2022 |
If this refinery isn't privatized after the completion of refurbishing, it will become a white elephant Pengasan and Nupeng will do their utmost to frustrate a privatization for they know that a private company will trim the excess workforce. The government must sell off a majority stake, even at a loss to ensure it operates maximally and even pay taxes into the nation's coffers. 1 Like |

grandstar:Portharcourt refinery is a property of NNPC which was made a limited company less than a week ago.In other words it has been privatized a few days ago.Are we going to experience anything positive from the outcome? That remains the big question. |
