He gave the assurance when the House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on the state of the country’s refineries visited the facility in Rivers State for an on the spot assessment of the $1.5 billion dollar rehabilitation project of the facility.

ASSURANCE means nothing is assured.

I laff in Chinese cheesy
These people are just heartless enemies of Nigeria. They’ve been telling us this same old stories over the years. It is either turn around maintenance or soon start refining. It will never happen! Tell us another old gist.
Nigeria will never refine petroleum, will never produce steel, will never process cocoa, will never have sufficient electricity via gas until she does to her masters what Mali did to France!
These questions are what Peter Obi should be asked and not the blind bandwagon campaign statements by politicians.

What do you have to say about the masses who routinely vote these thieves into public office?

Because they are in the majority, they implicate people like us who see that the lasting solution to this faux arrangement is disintegration... or at the very very least, deep restructuring.

Makowonda:
Portharcourt refinery is a property of NNPC which was made a limited company less than a week ago.In other words it has been privatized a few days ago.Are we going to experience anything positive from the outcome? That remains the big question.

It has not been privatized. The governments shares have not been sold to the public. It's at best commercialized.

It needs to be sold off so it's potentially can be unleashed!
