The news broke out just last two days that the United Nations working group mandated the Nigerian government to released the leader of IPOB MAZI NNAMDI KANU whom they kidnapped from Kenya and renditioned him extraordinarily to Nigeria.

Many people posted the news here with verifiable links, yet the moderators refused to push the breaking news to the front page, then I asked myself, I thought professional journalism is all about making information available to the people and report it the way it is without short-changing regardless of the person or situation involved. But I was surprise to see truly how bias this NAIRALAND platform is at its reportage.


I remember, few months back, the most respected elders from the South Easth met the president and told him, look, extraordinary rendition is a grievious crime before humanity and the international community, this meeting is for you to redeem your images before the international community, swallow your pride and release NNAMDI KANU, if you have any case against him, go to Britain and petition him for extradition. It was a very good advice that the noble South Easth elders could give to the presidency but yet the choice to remain adamant.



Now, UN is giving them matching order to release NNAMDI KANU, they will now be forced to want to negotiate but NNAMDI KANU will look them into their hypocritical eyes and tell them NO, no more time for such things, you had your time but you never made good use of it.

Sometimes, I wonder is Nigeria don't have legal advisers, likewise, NAIRALAND, encourage you to stand on the side of truth no matter who or how much is involved.
