Spot on! But how do you discuss ideas when some people expend a lot of energy on religion or Tinubu's sweat soaked agbada.
When some people are threatening everyone who say anything negative about their candidates.
It is not the fault of the candidates that they are not discussing ideas and policies when the public themselves are discussing inanity.
I think at dis juncture sir, I hv to agree with u.
How do u expect d contestants to discuss about ideas when we hv too many electorate idiots, either party A is fighting party B or party b is fighting party C.

At least Atiku and Peter Obi talk directly to the people via TV interview and social media. Tinubu on the other hand is just continuing what Buhari is currently doing, which is having his media aids speak platitudes on his behalf.

Also, Peter Obi has been very clear about the focus of his administration, and that is turning Nigeria from consumption to production. If this succeeds many other things will be solved.

As for solving power, security and the other immediate problems, replicating the model of countries like Egypt and Singapore, would produce better result.
The questions are has he done it in Anambra and how would he turn Nigeria from consumption to production? - talk is cheap

Abati is not running for office. What are the current candidates going to do about insecurity , unemployment, education etc. Things that really matters to you. Abati was never elected, he owe you no explanation.
D person u replied is part of d electorate idiots. Was Abbati elected in any public office? Hell No
I hv being expecting d contestants to tell us how they plan to tackle insecurity, education and more importantly, d money dis apc has borrowed how do they intend paying back

I read some part, skipped some and just glanced over some other portions.
But the message is loud and clear.
Nigeria is at its worst ever.
I watched the documentary that the BBC released on terrorism in northern Nigeria and I cried.
I don't mean technically, I cried for real.

Oh wait a minute...
Terrorists threatening to abduct the president of the giant of Africa?
Oh damn!!
Terrorists attacking the presidential guard?
Unbelievable!!
Atiku has been a big part of the problem we have as a country.
Tinubu is the architect of the problem.
If we ever hope to see a healed Nigeria, we must be OBIdiently YUSUFul.
#OBIYUSUF2023.

Unfortunately, majority of the fans and followers of the principal presidential candidates are intellectually challenged to discuss ideas. Even when I posted on the visionary leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the nation building of a New Nigeria, they did not read before attacking the personality of Tinubu, ignorant of the fact that he has been laying the foundation through the platform of The Bola Tinubu Colloquium since 1999.
https://bolatinubucolloquium.org

Reuben Abati clearly knows that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu already has the road map for reconstruction of the nation as a true Federal Republic of Nigeria and has the best socioeconomic plan based on the template he used to make Lagos the 5th biggest economy in Africa which can be used for the transformation of the rest of the 35 states and Abuja.

In APC primary, Osinbanjo gave us the best idea how he would resolve Nigeria's problems if given opportunity, but trust naija, they went for highest bidder. Meanwhile, for general election, I think Obi is still leading on how iideologies, the ideologies he would use, if given opportunity, while Tinubu keeps on mentioning achievements in Lagos. Achievements that his predicessors laid......the last time I checked, Fashola started significant projects in Lagos, while Tinubu was preoccupied himself by fighting federal government mighty then, when he was governor.

During his time in government, the country was waaaaaaay better than it is today.

Buhari and his party have damaged the country beyond any hope of redemption.

Tinubu may have memory loss issue as pointed out here, but that's no excuse for us to have a new president Abubakar Atiku who played important roles that brought Nigeria to its knees.

The devil, for me, is actually in the details as they say. It would be nice to hear Obi's plan to actualize this feat that I emphasized in bold fonts.

Unfortunately, it seems that the political space have been polluted by so much noise and we are not asking the right questions.

In recruitment processes, the quality of the questions that the candidates are asked will determine the success or failure of the recruitment exercise. At the moment, Nigerians aren't asking the presidential candidates the right questions and we are likely to get it wrong again.

The problem is Atiku and Tinubu cannot be trusted to deliver on the promises they make.

Atiku has been a leader at the national level for 8 years and failed to solve any of the major issues he promising to solve.

While Tinubu is a core part of APC, a party that not only failed in doing what they promised, but also compounded the problems of the country.

And this same Reuben led the pack of purpoted journalists who made big news of the claim that 'fake/unknown bishops' attended the official unveiling of Shettima.

Without investigating the claim, they went with the narrative and made it a hot topic. Where is the substance in that?
