Soon, there will be massive relocation from Abuja by mostly the rich down south. Abuja will soon be over run by bandits and terrorists.
I see massive exodus looming. This will result in drastic reduction of rent prices.

Which security?

Just pray the situation doesn't deteriorate.

I recall when it was hot in Borno about 13 years ago. MOPOL personnel had to attach to Army and AF personnel.
Being on their own na suicide that period.

During the Jonathan administration, Boko Haram attacked Police Hqtrs, Old parade ground at Area 10 just after Army, Navy and Airforce harts, Abacha barrack, UN Hqrts, Nyanyan bus park, DSS hqrts opposite Aso Rock, Madallah market and other places in Abuja. Yet, we did not leave Abuja.

Under Jonathan, things was so bad that about half of the roads in the main city were blocked. Abuja residents were blocked from using public roads in front of Police HQ in area 11, area 10 from force CID to Agada hotel road, Ship house (MoD), wuse zone 3 customs hqrts area, FCT command garki II etc because of Boko haram. Today, we now drive freely across these roads. So, what’s your point again?

We are Nigerians and we will never surrender our federal capital to terrorists. We are not leaving Abuja for you and your terrorist friends.

You mean things were so bad under Jonathan due to the fact Buhari and his terrorists wanted to make the state ungovernable for GEJ...

You there alarmists are just decieving yourself. Because of pockets of attacks in underlying area councils, you guys are crying wolf. You really don't know how secure AMAC is. The rest of the country can literally be burning down and AMAC will not succumb. All it takes is just to block the main access roads and/or mount checking points in the few routes out of the city. And don't say that because Kuje prisons was attacked and police HQ years ago. Military and police installations are always hotbeds of attack, day in day out.

This kind of mentality is what those around Jonathan were insinuating back then. It is the same thinking that made him refuse to take action early on the Chibok girls kidnap. It is the same we vs them that is keeping the country down. So, who are the people making the country ungovernable for Buhari today?

What are you insinuating? That schools were closed in Abuja under Jonathan or that Jonathan was paying terrorist to free Army personnel and bidding they spare presidential Air Force 1

Everything I said and lots more can be easily verified. Point out just one of the attacks i mentioned that did not happen. I narrowly missed the Nyanyan Boko Haram attack so I know what I’m saying.

Under Jonathan, over 100 DSS and police officers were killed by some insurgents in Eggon, Nasarawa state. I still remember that day like yesterday.

My point is not that things are good at the moment, I’m only telling the OP that we’ve been through worse security situation in Abuja and we did not run away. We will not leave FCT to satisfy the OP and his terrorist friends.

You needed to say all these to make it seem as though we are better off now. I expected every right thinking person to condemn these brazen attacks.
It seems these expectations are too much from you. Do you have a platoon of soldiers guiding you? If so, do you think everyone is at liberty to control such? How low can people go really?

I agree...it will fall drastically. Even land will fall. I see the FG relocating the capital to Enugu state because the SW and North have housed the capital so it's the turn of the SE. I see Enugu becoming the next capital of Nigeria.

This I have seen.

I’m not like Peter Obi that go about lying shamelessly. Everything I said in my post happened. While we’re looking forward to see a more secured country, we can’t afford to forget where we are coming from. Those who don’t want to learn from history are bound to repeat the same mistake.

Those ones are succide bombers, and are afraid of security personals and that was even the first time such began to happen in Nigeria but these ones are beyond the security personals. All we hear is rebel them, no casualty on their part. They operate and go Scot free. Imagine if such had started in this Buhari tenure, everywhere would have been bombed, even the barricade wouldn't have been introduced, APC would have been down playing it untill everyone gets consumed
