Why do you think the young doctors mother was cried, and how do you think the father felt? Why do you think the governor called her an omoluabi? Gifted her 5m and a house? Why didn't he give other graduates from the state?
I train my children from small to be upright citizens, to aspire to be the most that they can be, to be high achievers, to excel in all they do. I invest heavily in their education to the best of my ability. I give them treats when I can afford it yearly foreign holidays etc.
And you say I should not pray for them to make us parents proud of them at the end of the day? Heck okonjo iwela posted her Dr son the other day on his medical fit!
What is the joy of a parent more than to see well brought up, successful, healthy proper kids?
