I was restricted by the MOD from posting all these days. Get your facts right. Those in my telegram channel can testify that I do post trades on a daily basis.

Omobola121:
You don't come online to show one screenshot because you were lucky with such trade always "saying people to join your group".

Since that day, did you post any other trades? Or did you even put any post here at all? Just yesterday evening that all coins went up because of the results that came out, you rushed down here again. I deliberately keep an eyes on you.

If you want respect, you respect yourself first. You can't be misleading newbies here only on green day's by posting one screenshot.

Respect your trades and respect yourself.

You people are talking of 730 on binance, come to mexc, it's 750 here. I couldn't help but waao! Who taught Emefiele monetary policies must be crazy.
What we are experiencing with the Naira is not Emefiele fault. A country Where debt is growing, cash is reducing, import is increasing, export is reducing, (not to talk of other abnormalities going on within the country) sooner or later will face Nigeria current situation. Cutting or banning intentional spending won’t solve the problem, it like treating the symptoms and abandoning the disease. It will only grow worse. Emefiele his trying all he can to make the death of the Naira slow and less painful.

We didn't had it this bad even in the past when we were importing virtually everything. Reckless borrowing and the consistent devaluation of naira brought us here. When you borrow money without putting it in useful productive use. Instead, they reloot. Talk of stifling economic policies and unfriendly investments and business environment that has frustrated businesses out of existence. Infact, these current set of leaders are super clueless.

Emefiele is the major cause of the problem. He has restricted dollar inflow to importers with his policies. This is basic economics. High demand plus low supply equals price increase. Yes, there are other factors at play here such as the global economic crisis and mismanagement of resources in the country but that doesn't absolve Emefiele of the blame.
My take - if Emefiele had done his bit well, the crash won't be as terrible as it is. It will get to 1000 naira unless he gets fired. Best thing to do now is put 70- 80 percent of your savings in dollars /euro/pounds. I have never seen anything come down in price after rising in Nigeria.

Now, all this does not sound like Emefiele fault to me. In the past, we did not have it this bad because the whole world was enjoying economic stability and growth but as at now; we are in an uncertain times where investors do not know what is going to happen next and looking as if the whole world economy seems to have ceased.

Right now, money is flowing to the dollar not because the US economy is witnessing any economic growth but mainly because people trust the dollar more than any other currency in the world and the US have companies that have global presence and operate throughout the world; this companies are capable of attracting investors fund even at this critical time, making the US economy seems to be experiencing economic growth which is not real. Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Tesla the US economy greatly benefits from this companies. But if you look at the companies in the united state those that do not have global presence throughout the world, their local companies are seriously been hit by what they are calling recession and currently their stocks are significantly down and going down.

Money is flowing from country that lacks proper economic structure or are in distressed state and are flowing to the US dollar and it why we are seeing a huge gap between the price of US dollar and other currencies of the world. What is somehow funny and scary is the fact that the us economy itself is in a distressed state and people are yet to see that. When the dollar start to get hit, we are going to be seeing every currency in the world both the developed and undeveloped ones getting hit hard. Pls, do have exposure to gold.

@pko1 BDC as little significant In dictating the direction of a country’s currency. Have you quickly forgotten when Emefiele revokes their right to sell dollar, everyone seems to be happy, rejoicing, saluting his courage and thinking the downward spiral of the Naira is over but guess what? Now, they are all blaming his decisions. What Emefiele his trying to do to save the Naira are just quick fixes; the fundamentals economic structure of the country cannot back the Naira and adding that to the scary times we are in the Naira we keep on spiraling downwards.

@geovanni412 Exactly that other factors you spoke of is what as resulted Emefiele into taking desperate measures. As the saying goes desperate times calls for desperate measures.

When a trade is going against me they Increase the leverage and I lose more
But when the trade is going in my favor, they reduce the leverage for me

Ibime the US just entered a recession officially and this news didn’t have any major effect on the market as I was expecting.

Could the worst be over?

I'm not the best fa analyst but recession could mean people opting to saving their money and diversifying in alternative means..

For example, as naira is crashing, it could bring a surge in crypto as most folks will prefer holding money in USDT/crypto

Such scenario could also play out globally and USA..

This is my own personal speculation on the matters

I believe market is thinking a recession will encourage Fed to stop raising rates and prioritise growth over curbing inflation. Few weeks ago, they were pumping Nasdaq on fears of a recession because they just want low interest rates that come with recession. It's not uhuru though. If job numbers start following the GDP which it would at some point over the next few months, then we would see major effect on market. I'm still in some short positions.
