Na the 20mins throw me off balance.. even you-self, u know say e no dey possible to wait that long after brushing even if it's a weekend

For Me I brush well, while intentional brushing the other sides of my teeth the other once take the time to collect enough action from the paste, after which I focus of my tongue with the help of my bathroom mirror then rinse afterwards then a repeat at night though I use mouth wash at night when am tired to brush and not working on night shift. And my teeth never complain for decades

It’s a habit and a mindset thing. We wait 20mins for our food to get done so we can also wait a similar time to rinse

Nice habit you got there man.. I guess you don't live in a traffic prone city/area...Maybe, you would have happily relinquished that habit. ..

It's actually easy to do. You just need to see it as something valuable to your teeth health, then add it to your routine without giving up much. For instance, if you brush your teeth first thing after you wake up, then workout for 30mins, then rinse your teeth. See? You have time to fit it in perfectly.

I might forget and start going about thinking subconsciously that I forgot something...I understand you man..It will be difficult for someone like me

It is highly recommended that you don't rinse your mouth after brushing, your teeth need the concentrated fluoride left after you've spat out the excess toothpaste. I've done this for some time and it really keeps the mouth fresh

Who recommended such? The person definitely isn't a dentist. Brushing without rinsing with water is poor hygiene. If one really wants to keep flouride in the teeth like you say, then it's better to brush and rinse with water, then take a little paste back into the mouth again. Not rinsing means you are leaving bacteria and paste in your mouth.
