I don't know why Christians like deceiving themselves . Almost 100% of pastors were involve in this atrocities. Firstly, you cant be mingle with young girls ,ladies and women and you will not be tempted . pastor telling a beautiful lady that she needs prayer and only both of them will be together ,something must happen.
Secondly ,instead of living a fake live of Christian can't marry second wife ,marry two . I know of many pastors who marry more than one wife and they are still getting members. People are always warned about all this scammers masquerading as men of God in other to exploit individuals . That guy can never be made bishop in any authodox churches by any means. Talking about CAN getting involved in polictics , I can categorically tell you that it shouldn't be an issue for a Muslim to field another Muslim provided they are competent . But as it stands today it seems like there's a conspiracy by the Muslim community to subjugate the Christians and take over everything in the country even though they're very poor in administration . How do you want CAN not to speak up when reverend father's are being killed in Kaduna ,let's even assume it's terrorism why is it always the Christians . The worst of it is that these guys are not prosecuted even if they're caught . Why are they not killing imam if it's just terrorism . Don't forget that the whole security chieves are all Muslims. Terrorism knows no religion as it affects other religions just like the christians and Muslim alike. We've heard of imams killed, traditional rulers who aren't christians killed as well. This is not to say christians aren't casualties but then we must understand that this is a global challenge and Jesus had told us that in this world we would face persecution and if this actions of ours is what the apostles of old took, I don't think we would consider Christianity today.

But in all, we ask for God to help us out but then CAN should be more concerned about dying/lost souls than channeling much energy into politics and looking a bit partician. Even the politics we play in churches today are worst than what we have in our political system.
