A Nigerian man, Alika Ogochukwu, has been killed with a crutch in Corso Umberto I in Civitanova Marche, Italy.

Police Ambulance services attended, and an attempt to revive Ogochukwu failed as he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident happened around 2pm on 29 July, on the street, in the glare of passers-by who stood and watched as a 32-year-old Italian from Campania sniffed the life out of him.

You can see what psychology refers to as the bystander effect with people around watching and none of them did anything to stop the fight or even call 911.
