Nada, not like eating yam with yam. The soup is a little thicker than pepper soup.

Starch will still be nice though.

One of my best and one of the few soups that taste better with age, may be next to banga soup in my experience.

The face of the soup is nice and appealing, good job overall. but the main seasoning in Ofe nsala, (the Anambra way) would have be an Ogiri Igbo(the one wrapped in papers) not Ogiri okpei.

Never been a fan of this soup

One day here on nairaland, we would discuss the Igbos dislike for oil and pepper when cooking. Any soup without oil and pepper is a no for me, no matter how you cook it. I might eat it, but I can't enjoy it.

Okpei is even better , if at all u need use ogiri , normally u don't use ogiri in nsala

@the chef, I prefer ogiri to okpei for the soup.
