We the OBIdients are not fighting for politicians, we are actually fighting for a better Nigeria because When I see a Tinubu supporter online, I am scared! I am scared for my future because I can't believe that someone is asking me to support a candidate and by extension a party that has failed us completely in every single metric of governance.

I observe that threads that get to front page often are threads that are either pro Tinubu or anti Peter Obi. Even on the front page of politics section, you will see those threads remaining here for days but if a thread is surporting PO, it would be removed from the front page of politics section within minutes. If you surpport PO or criticize Tinubu so much you will be banned. I have been banned many times for fleamsy reason.

But do people actually "die" for politicians? or die for their interests?
I think rather than the former people actually put their lives at stake for the later. Some of these Interests are material/personal such as money, political positions, favour, and contracts while others are immaterial and psychosocial such as tribal, ethnic, religious regional and clannish interests: these are the things people die for not the politicians per se.
For example are the Nigerian youths who are staking their lives and resources in the "Obidient" movement doing so because of OBI? Apparently yes but in reality No. They do what they do because the political figure (Obi) is seen as representing their diverse personal and psychosocial Interests.
