Brilliant run by Nigerian ladies in the 4 x 100m relay. The anchor leg Nkwocha ran down the British girl for the first position.

I think they qualified with the best time and hopefully will be in the middle lane for the finals.

They qualified as the best time ahead of them all. Though the Jamaicans relaxed a bit towards the end because of no competition., we need to step up a bit and shock the world as Jamaica can substitute one of their legs for Elaine Thompson Herra though w also have potential of including Tobi.

Nigeria should clinch it easily if we bring in Tobi and Jamaica and England maintains this team

If Jamaica runs with that quartet, they will struggle in the finals. I think they’d bring in Thompson-Herah in the finals.

England will definitely introduce Daryll Neita to anchor for them…Bianca Williams might be sacrificed.

A good lane and good barton exchange with no lane infringement will get the Nigerian girls on the podium.

Elaine Thompson will definitely be their anchor leg. She came for the commonwealth games to get the gold and she wouldn’t miss the 4 x 100m.

England will do the same. Neita will run in the finals. They were unfortunate not to have Dina Asha Smith….

Nigerian ladies have done well so far, I think Tobi should be there, not sure what her time will be on the flat, even without her if the girls execute their job well, they’ll be on the podium…good thing is Nigeria will be in the middle lane.

It will be delightful to get a medal in the final and I think the Kenyans might scare us to a bronze. The way Omayanla (100m winner) looked at Ogunlewe at the tail end..."You will meet me in the final.


We seriously need to get a gold (most likely from the ladies) to keep competing on the overall medal table as only gold can set us apart ahead of SA comfortably and probably pursue India (who still have huge prospect for at least 4-5 golds)

Yes oo... Live reporting.. Have just seen our men and female do well in relay right here in the stadium.... I think our women have a good chance for a medal... All the athletes did great��... Ofili for that second leg helped with closing the gap... Jamaica is the biggest threat for gold..
The men will face strong competition from England, Trinidad and Kenya.. I hope we can strengthen our team with the young guy in the 200 metres final...
